Transcript for "Product Update Briefing - Blackbaud eTapestry": Hello, everyone. I'm Tiffany Crumpton, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the new vice president of products and head of fundraising here at Blackbaud. I have been a part of the Blackbaud team for many years, working closely with our fundraising solutions and more importantly with you, the customers who rely on those solutions each and every day. That long history gives me a very deep appreciation for the scale, the complexity, and the mission critical nature of fundraising and for the responsibility that we have to keep raising the bar as your partner. Innovation has always been core to Blackbaud's fundraising portfolio, and we are so incredibly energized by what's ahead. Across our solutions, we're actively delivering enhancements that reflect how fundraising teams work today while also laying the foundation for what you will need next. What you will see in these briefings is not just a snapshot of what's new. It's part of a broader ongoing commitment to modern, intelligent, and connected fundraising technology developed hand in hand with you, our customers, and released with intention. We are so ready to build on the momentum that we have. We're excited about what's already coming to market, and we're even more excited about where we're going. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Now let's dive in. Thank you, Tiffany, for that introduction, and congrats on your new role. Again, she is our new VP of products and specifically heading up our fundraising and donor management pillar, of which eTapestry falls in under. My name is Nick Boladas, and I am pleased to get us started with our Blackbaud eTapestry product update briefing for the 2026. I'll be getting us started today, and I'm joined by my colleague, Jeff Arbuckle, who will join shortly to take you through some of the resources available to get the most out of eTapestry. So I'm sure many of you are quite familiar with Jeff and look forward to hearing from him here shortly. Again, I'll get us started and settled in with some housekeeping and make sure you're familiarized with our webinar platform. We'll then take you through a bit of the vision and strategy that we work through as we develop eTapestry followed by, the features that have been released since the last time we had a pub presentation, which would have been November 2025. And then again, I'll kick it over to Jeff for some, some opportunity to learn more and ensure you're you're well suited to get the most out of eTapestry and take advantage of some of those resources available to you. If you haven't joined us for a webinar before, this is Goldcast. So, hopefully, first and foremost, the audio is coming through your speakers clearly, and you're hitting me okay right now. If not, you can try refreshing your browser. I know it's basic troubleshooting stuff, but, generally, that that does resolve issues, and it will kick you back to the live portion of the presentation so you don't have to worry about, you know, whether you're starting from the beginning. If all else fails, feel fear not. You will receive a recording of this, shortly after we conclude, so you can take it in at your own, convenience. There is a docs tab at the top right there. You'll find some links, specifically when we get to Jeff's sections, of resources that are available to you. So please download those, as you see fit. There's also a companion guide which kinda summarizes the content. You'll see the q and a tab as well. That is the way to reach out to us if you have any questions. Doesn't have to be a question. It could be a comment. If you have anything you want to add throughout the presentation, please submit them to that q and a tab, and we'll be sure to follow-up on those in as real time as we can. If we can't get to everything or, you know, we need to verify something, we'll be sure to follow-up with you directly afterwards. There is a cogwheel if you want to, adjust any of the settings. You can turn on and off captions, to your liking. And with that, we will get going. We do need to start with just a little bit of boilerplate information just that is to say that, today's presentation may contain forward looking, assumptions that are always subject to change. So if you are making business decisions, please do so based on features that are actively released and currently available. And then let's talk a little bit about Blackbaud eTapestry. Some of you are new here, I can see. So we just want to, talk a little bit about how we develop eTapestry and hope that it fits into your technology, stack. The first, key theme of our eTapestry development is ensuring that you, as our customers and partners, have stayed healthy, secure, and compliant. So, we make sure that our, softwares are built, on such a a foundation that ensures that you're situated for growth. Next, we, want to make sure that you are nurturing relationships with your constituents, and providing, all the touch points needed to ensure that you are fostering those relationships to be healthy, and and long living. And finally, that you are equipped to grow with innovation and best practices. So we we ensure to get the information out to you in the most streamlined ways and reduce the back end administrative work on your teams so you can focus on on what you all do great, and that is, delighting your supporters and, inspiring them to become more impactful. So let's take a quick look at what is available now in a Tapestry. Again, this is all things that have come out since the last time we did this in November. So first, when you're working with your user defined fields, you'll now get a bit of a a friendly nudge if you're ever attempting to navigate away from one, without or with, excuse me, with unsafe changes. So I hope you haven't lost too much time in the past by doing so. I can imagine the frustration that would come along with that. But fear not. If you are now working within your UDFs and you either refresh your page or you attempt to, you know, click the back arrow or navigate away, you will receive an alert that, will make sure that all your saved changes are there. So, hopefully, that'll reduce, any time lost that may have, come from that. In the last round of, the November probably was the personas that we had done this with, and now we're following up with your UDFs to, again, protect you from some preventable loss of time there. Next, we acted on some of your direct feedback and streamlined the way, your information displays within persona lists. So just to help you better manage those large persona lists, from the report page. Now only one drop down is revealed at a time as opposed to, several, which, again, we had some direct feedback that that was, a bit clutter some and kinda distracting and overwhelming to have that much, information in your face at all times. So now, again, just the primary, or the current, drop down that you're focused on is is displayed to you. So, again, hopefully, that helps, alleviate some some clutter and distraction, within the user user face. And then finally, we just want to call out that, our investment and development may not always show up as, large feature releases or new workflows, new screens, etcetera, But it is nonetheless very real and intentional. Over the past several years, much of the work, and that is ongoing, has been focused on foundational long term priorities that ensure eTapestry, and more specifically, your data that's stored, within eTapestry, that that remains stable, secure, and perfectly viable. So, again, not always gonna be, flashy screens and workflow adjustments, but just know that behind the scenes, we are constantly, evolving and and making sure that eTapestry is is reliable for you as our customers. And these most recent rounds, of bug fixes and real reliability improvements, include, preventing duplicate transactions from cart form gateway timeouts, issues with the Outlook add in login, connectivity, DIY d excuse me. DIY form spam submissions, broken communications previews, and import failures, for pledges and file uploads. So that's a bit of a tongue twister, but, just, again, wanted to call out that, even though you may not see all the updates that, they are very, active and intentional behind the scenes. One thing to also draw your attention to, this would be specifically for our customers who are using our wealth, predictive models in conjunction with eTapestry, namely ResearchPoint. So if you are using ResearchPoint now, you can begin to experience or expect, an even elevated level of, successful matching to customers. So a core underpinning of these wealth analytics services is the identity resolution, and that's how we accurately match data from third party sources and then match it back to the correct constituent inside of your, your file, inside of your eTapstreet database. And that's, absolutely critical to, get you those actionable insights, that you rely on. So, again, we have now partnered with a third party solution known as LiveRamp, which we previously did this in house. And now we think that, with this, you can see the the statistics on your screen there. Just expect a more complete and actionable set of information coming from your identity resolution. And, again, just to call this out, this is specifically for customers using ResearchPoint or advanced wealth analytics, and those in The United States as well. So your, the the research I'm sorry. The wealth ratings inside of each tapestry will remain unchanged. This is specifically for those of you using, Advanced Wealth Analytics or ResearchPoint. One other exciting opportunity to point you towards, especially if, and I assume most of you are, looking to reach more donors, gain visibility into corporate giving activity, or receive your donations, significantly faster, we invite you and encourage you to become active in the Blackbaud verified network. It's very little lift on your end. You, really just need to, activate your profile, and there's a link to do so in the doc session, section. And once you do that, the, again, the Blackbaud verified network is a completely free, 100% free nonprofit portable portal that connects your organization to corporate giving and volunteering programs, and that's powered by your cause from Blackbaud. And already today, there are, that'll give you access to over 500 companies and millions of employees worldwide. And by claiming and optimizing your profile, your organization can improve visibility into employee getting experiences, track donations, and verification requests all in one place, and you'll, get the electronic disbursements much more quickly. So just to kinda put that in context, like, for an example, I, as a Blackbaud employee, we have, you know, employee giving incentives and and opportunities. And by you logging in and creating your profile, when I go as an employee and say, you know, I have a $100 that I wanna give to, you know, a food bank, and I wanna make a very specific impact, the verified network would then connect me to you, explain, you know, what the, the value of my $100 would do specifically for your organization, and then, you know, incent not incentivize, but encourage me to the to then, get you that money, and then the verified network makes it downstream to your organization much more directly and more quickly. So awesome opportunity again just to, get in front of, more donors and and make your organization more, available, through employee getting connections and and campaigns. So that's it for my updates for now. I am now going to pass to Jeff Arbuckle, who will take you through a few of the opportunities currently available to you to get the most out of eTapestry. Alright. Thank you, Nick. Hi, everybody. I'm sure, most of you here are probably aware of who I am if you've, ever gone to a webinar that, that I've had, you know, done for various different topics and so forth. I wanted to you know, despite the fact that I know a lot of you probably do attend and those people who are much more, you know, kind of engaged with going to those sessions and everything like that are probably already well aware of what we have to offer here. But I wanted to make sure that everybody knows that there are a couple of different ways that you can catch up with these various webinars that I do on a regular basis. For example, first of all first and foremost, all of these links are in the doc section. So, you know, if this is something you do want to kind of circle back around and, and check out, because I know that maybe some of you listening may not necessarily be on our mailing list when we do set up these webinars. And a lot of that has to do with the fact that we are primarily looking at people marked inside of blackbaud.com profiles as organization administrators. You might be in an admin role inside of eTapestry, but you may not have that admin role on blackbaud.com on your Blackbaud ID. So, you know, that may be one of the reasons why you might not always see the invitations to these various webinars. So bookmark these links that are in docs because, you know, we will normally have two or three months worth of webinars planned out at any point in time. So you can always go there and check to see if there are new webinars that are that are planned, anything that you might want to take a look at or or register for. I know I have one coming up here in later part of May, that's going to be talking specifically about, you know, creating successful, online forms. My June topic is going to be about, you know, setting up some queries and reports that you may not necessarily ever have to touch again outside of maybe adjusting some of the scheduling around the reporting side. So just some kind of, you know, tips and tricks and and some, you know, really some ideas to to focus on there. You know, this is not meant to be anything more than, you know, let's take a topic and dig a little bit deeper into what your day to day needs might be. It's not really meant to be like a replacement for the basic training part, but it may be able to provide for you some additional information. And so as you can see here, we have these sessions every month set up and, there's an ask the expert, session that is set up the following week after a topic. So, like, for example, that webinar I have coming up here in a couple of weeks about, doing a successful online form. The following week, there'll be an Ask the Experts session to where we can take that information that you learned and, you know, maybe ask some questions about some of the things that you might want to do with those, types of DIY forms. It's a, it's it's a pretty it's a pretty fun group of people that come to this that, you know, kind of, participate through the chat section. So when questions are asked, everybody gets to see the question. Some people get to answer the question for, you know, for their, peers in the chat. And sometimes I'm giving an answer that benefits everybody. But we also always provide these previous sessions on demand as well. You do not have to attend live. So if you're listening, say, over in Australia or, maybe the timing, is after hours for you, if you're in Blackbaud Europe, you know, you're you can still sign up and still get the recording sent to you. And you can also check on this page here, this, insider tips and tricks. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there will be the, the the links and the they're, like, set up like little panels. You can click on that and access those past sessions. But in addition to that, I have even more sessions that have been recorded, saved on demand, and they're placed on this page here, which is the, on demand resource library that is, kinda managed by the customer success team. So you can, you know, you can really kind of as as as it says here, set your team squarely on the path to success because these sessions are categorized. Some of them are, you know, like kinda getting started type stuff. Some of them are a little bit more along the lines of, maybe communications or online presence, like creating online forms and so on and so forth, doing some reporting. So they are categorized in a way to where if you really just need to see where I might have some past sessions or some recordings that talks specifically about doing queries and reports, there's a category there. You can find those sessions within there too. This is also something that's in the doc section. I, definitely recommend that you bookmark it. Over time, when I do sessions live and they kinda come and and they kinda come to pass, they will eventually also show up on this page as well. So do know that both pages will have some of the same past recordings. But this one is a little bit better categorized and a little bit more easily able to kinda find the stuff that you want to look at, including some, you know, like getting started type stuff and some stuff that kinda takes you through step by step, especially if you're really new to eTapestry. So I know that probably, like I said, a lot of you who are listening to this are probably, vets of of attending these, and I and I do, you know, I always appreciate my, veterans that come almost every month and and have something to ask or something to add to the conversation. Always appreciate you. But it is kinda surprising to know that there are still a lot of eTapestry organizations out there who may not necessarily know that these resources exist, that they don't have to pay for. They just have to give me, you know, an hour, twice a month, and they get some information about how to better, benefit from the tool that is eTapestry. So with that, I think I'm going to pass things back over to Nick to talk about a few other things. Sure. Thank you, Jeff, for that, highlighting the treasure trove of resources available to you all as eTapestry customers. Again, whether you're perhaps new to your organization or your organization is new to eTapestry, or if you just wanna you know, maybe you onboarded in a hurry and you don't feel like you have the stable of the foundations. It's a it's a great way to kinda go learn those, like, sort of day one skills all the way through, obviously, advanced, you know, functionality and use of the of the system as well. But just, yeah, great opportunity to just make sure you're on the path to success and your team is getting the most out of eTapestry. Last thing we wanna call your attention to is the early bird registration for BBCon is currently open. We'll be going there at the September, into October 1 in Columbus, Ohio. So we've been kind of on the West Coast for or we're I'm sorry. We're in Philadelphia this past year, but prior to that, we're Denver and Seattle. So kinda now working our way back to, East Coast and, or at least the Midwest and, excited to be in, in Ohio in September and October. If you haven't been to BBCon before, I would definitely encourage you to check it out. Now is the time to do so again with the early bird registration ongoing. But what you'll find is that the, the excitement is definitely contagious once everyone is kind of in the same room and and you get to hear from and and network with so many, of your awesome peers, and hear from them directly how they're doing certain things, extremely well or perhaps they, you know, maybe they have, some issues they're facing and you could offer some insight on how your organization overcame similar issues. It's just great to get kind of birds of a feather together, and all championing the different ways that you're using software and and overcoming fundraising challenges. So definitely do please consider that. And, again, early bird registration open right now, and you can find the link to learn more in that docs tab. That is all we had today. Rather quick presentation for you, so we will let you go. Hope you had some valuable tidbits, and we'll look forward to the next opportunity, we have to, to see you and to talk to you. To quote Jeff once more, keep e tapping on. Thanks a lot. We'll see y'all soon.
