Transcript for "Unlocking Efficiency and Insights: Demo the Benefits of Migrating to Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT®️":
Hi, everyone, and welcome to today's webinar. We'll begin here in just a few moments, but I wanna go over a couple of housekeeping items while everyone is getting a chance to get logged in. This is an interactive platform, so please feel free to ask questions throughout the presentation via the q and a function. We'll try and get to most of those questions either live in chat or at the end of the session. But if there are any that we don't have time for, we'll make sure to follow-up with you and get you a response. Just a couple reminders about the webinar platform today. Audio for this webinar is broadcast through your computer speakers. And if you have any technical issues, try refreshing your browser first. We're also gonna send out a link to the webinar recording via email. And if you would like to, you can download the slides from today's presentation on the docs tab on the right hand of your screen. And there's a cogwheel on the bottom of your screen that you can use to adjust your settings. And before we get going, I also just wanna quickly note that this webinar is for existing Financial Edge 7 clients. If you're not a current Financial Edge user, you're gonna wanna join our general product tour at the link listed here. And feel free to chat in if you'd like us to message that link directly to you as well. Alrighty. So let's get started. My name is Marybeth Robards. I'm a part of the financial solutions marketing team here at Blackbaud. I'm joined today by my colleague, Heather LeVan. Fun fact about Heather, prior to joining Blackbaud, she was actually on the other things as a Blackbaud client using both Financial Edge 7 and Financial Edge NXT during her career. So I'm gonna be your host and Heather will be the one walking us through today's demonstration. We've got a couple of items to to cover on the agenda, including details on the vision for Financial Edge NXT, the demo portion, and then some product update information and your next steps. So some of you may have already elected to have your Financial Edge 7 database hosted with us and have already started to take advantage of Blackbaud Sky, our secure cloud. But for those of you who are using Financial Edge 7 on your own servers, this is gonna be a new benefit for you. And with Blackbaud Sky, your information is monitored 247, 365 days a year by a leading cloud provider, and we ensure that the system's up to date, properly configured, and compliant with standards like PCI DSS and the AICPA system and organizational controls. And your data is gonna be backed up regularly with fully redundant infrastructure so your staff can have anywhere, anytime access, and that includes on phones and tablets. We also manage your cloud infrastructure on your behalf to reduce your IT burden, increase continuity, and allow your organization to focus more on its core mission. So Financial Edge NXT was designed with you, our existing customers in mind. As a customer centered company, we started early on with the guiding principle to make the transition to the cloud and NXT as painless as possible for our financial edge customers. We know that data migration system upgrades can be tricky and often resemble a new system implementation, but migration to the new web interface is simple. There's no data conversion or data mapping. Nothing is changing in your data. The only thing that's different is how you access Financial Edge NextE. And there's exciting new functionality, some of which you've never had before. So all of that in mind, I'm gonna hand things over to Heather to dive a little deeper. Alright. Well, thank you, Marybeth. So I just wanted to share a few things, and then we're gonna go right into the product. As Marybeth mentioned, you can absolutely download these slides because there is a lot of really great information on them. But, really, there are so many new features and enhancements with Financial Edge NXT, many of which you will see today. But we're gonna talk about just the better reporting experience and show that to you. You're gonna see as we move throughout the product that it is just more of an intuitive user experience, and there are many time saving tools. There's definitely improvements to the budgeting and even reconciliation with bank and credit card feeds. So I'll talk about all of those. Couple other ideas to to think about as well. As we think about kind of this time that we are going through here, it is an exciting time as we deliver a total web solution. And that means moving the database view features that you're using today exclusively into web view. And as we've done this, the focus has really been to have increased efficiencies, enhanced accountability, and to be able to make better data driven decisions. Additionally, this like I said, you can download the slides because this absolutely has a lot of really great information. And in case you missed it, these are some of the features already within Financial Edge NXT available now. So there's a lot, but I encourage you to download the presentation so you have that for reference. But many of these features, we are absolutely going to see today. As I grab the screen, I'll give you just an extra moment to take a look at what's on that slide. And as I first come into the product, you are going to see the website. And the reason I start there is this is also where you would start when you first log in to the product. And so I start here just to show you that this is available anywhere you have the Internet. It is available on any device and it's fully mobile responsive. So when you first come to blackbaud.com and sign in, if you have other solutions maybe like the razors edge NXT, it is available from that single sign on experience. So you can absolutely have both products open at the same time. What's nice as well, if you look to the very top of my screen, you'll see I I get a little carried away for these webinars, but all of those tabs up at the top are financial edge NXT. So that is just kind of that user experience that we're gonna highlight several times today, but you can have as much of the product open at one time. You're no longer limited to just being in general ledger or just being in accounts payable, for example. As we first come into the product, this is the home screen. I do like to take a moment just to orient everybody in case this is the first time that you're seeing financial edge NXT. Up here at the top, there's this darker bar. And depending on your security settings, that's going to dictate what you have access to, of course, that continues from what you're doing today. But that darker bar up at the top is how we access all of the different areas of the solution, and I have just right clicked, like I mentioned, on many of those areas and opened additional tabs. That's just my my my particular preference. Additionally, you can see a lot of blue text on the screen at the moment. I encourage you to keep an eye out for that as we move around today because it's everywhere. And blue text within financial gen x t means drill down. So it is how we more fluidly move around in the solution and just get to the different areas that you might need. As we've mentioned, this has been a very exciting transition as we've moved everything into that total web solution, and there are always going to be updates to the product. With it being in the cloud, that's really the benefit. We can continue to make sure this is the best product for all of you. So here within those updates, there's information to check-in on, what's coming into the product, what's next. I even noticed this today and registered. There's a general ledger records webinar, next week. So it just made it nice that I could just access that right from within the product. There's also a little green question mark button, a little slide out. That is going to be where all of the help resources are located. So it is going to recognize where you are in the product. So right now, I'm on the home page, so it's fairly generic. We're seeing some of the same information. But if I were maybe working in report and had a question about one of my reports at that time, click on it. It's gonna queue up all the reporting resources. So it's just kind of nice, a little bit quicker. You can also do a general search, kinda like a Google search right here in about the center screen. You can chat live with customer support just right from this screen, file a case, tap into the Blackbaud community. You can also access the training resources. So Blackbaud University, hopefully, through the years, maybe you've taken a class or 2, but I always make a mention of the classes that have all been built new for financial edge NXT. I recommend them. You're just going to get more out of the product. You're gonna use it more effectively, and it'll make this transition easier for your staff. So each user can come in here and take as many classes as they would like as many times as they'd like. So you can really become the expert and and, like I say, just use it effectively as you're making this transition. So that's all available through Blackbaud University. Next, I wanna just kinda start looking at some of the high level areas of the system, and I'm gonna start with dashboards. These have all been rebuilt, kinda reimagined, from a dashboard perspective. This is a nice area of the system as well as we're moving around today and you think about the users that you have today. You're definitely gonna have kind of your core users as you as you always have. But do keep in mind view only users come with the solution now as well. That is an opportunity for you to control security just like you always have, but maybe give some independence to certain users within your organization to just view information, and that's it. You can still control what information they can see, but maybe they can answer some of their own questions by some of these dashboards. They do have just more graphical displays of your data depending on the dashboard, and it is just really easy to filter. The filters are up here at the top, those gray boxes. So depending on the dashboard and what data is being represented, I can really get my hands on my data very easily. Here's another dashboard, one of my favorites. This one's a project income and expense dashboard. This is one that pretty much all of my view only users utilized. I had some of my users that were already controlled by security as to what projects they could see. Other users just came in here and they could also just apply a filter. So they could just quickly select maybe just a small grouping of those projects that relate to what they work on, and that's it. And the system will just quickly refresh that. And it's just nice, you know, balance information. I know I had a lot of calls about that. This is just giving that controlled independence, for them to see that information themselves. What's nice, you do get dashboards with Financial Edge NXT. You also have the ability to build your own dashboards, and that just allows you to utilize and grab prebuilt insights. All of these boxes are called insights. So, like, invoice request list, invoice request by requester, those are called insights. So you can just drag and drop the invoices that are most relevant to you, maybe what information you wanna share with a particular audience and build out your own dashboards. That comes with the system. I do like to make a note here. We also have what's called insight designer. That is the ability to build insights from scratch. Very just really into the details. You wanna really customize exactly what you see here versus using prebuilt insights. That is an addition to the system, but insight designer is definitely something that is of interest to a lot of different users. So you've got options. I always encourage people explore the dashboards that just come with the system and then if you need to take it further, you have options. I also want to show you a record. I'm going to just show you a project record to begin with. Keep in mind, this is what all records look like now within Financial Edge NXT. You all are used to a tab experience. We work our way through a lot of tabs in the database view. You have to click into those tabs to know what information is there. That has been replaced with a tile experience here in Financial Edge NXT. So I'm actually gonna go over here and just collapse these down for just a moment. What's nice about the tile experience, each user can put the those tiles in a different order depending on what is most important to them. So they can reorder those and it's not going to impact any other user in the system. What's nice as well is if you just want to see a little bit of information at a time and and that's it, You can choose to just open one tile at a time, or if you like a lot of information just right in front of you, I just tend to leave them all open, but I have customized the the order that they appear in. So do keep in mind, like I say, this is what all records look like. This is also what a vendor record looks like or an account record looks like. So they all feel and function the same way, makes it a little bit easier to to learn as well. Also, within the records, you just have a lot of information at your fingertips. So something as simple as looking back at a prior fiscal year without having to run a report, I can do that. I just click back in this case on fiscal 22 and all that information just refreshed for me including all of the fiscal periods. As I mentioned, keep in mind that blue text. I'm gonna actually show you an example of that because if I want to look into an item, maybe I just kinda wanna look into the transaction details, see what's going on, I just use the blue text. So I'm just gonna kinda follow the bread crumbs is how this has always felt to me. I maybe I'm tracking on a particular expense, and I can already see this is an accounts payable activity. There's the invoice number. If anyone's counting, I have just clicked 3 times. But what I actually just did was transitioned from general ledger on that project record all the way into accounts payable to that invoice record just by a couple of clicks. And now maybe I've answered the question or saw the information that I wanted to see. All I have to do is click back, and I will be taken back to that project record. So that is just kind of that fluid movement that I've mentioned when I highlighted the blue text. As we kinda scroll down, I do wanna point out a couple of areas for those of you who are using media today that has just been renamed and made a whole lot easier. In financial gen x t, it's called attachments. You can attach whatever you would like within the system, and as I mentioned, it's a lot easier. So I can just drag and drop my files, or if you use a file sharing site, like we use SharePoint here at Blackbaud, and maybe you want a more detailed folder structure for example, you can also just list the URL to where that file lives. You can do 1 or both, but you can also have as many attachments in the system as you would like. For those of you that are using attributes today, I do like to point out those have not gone away. They are just going to flow automatically into Financial Gen XT. They just got a new name. So attributes became custom fields. They are equally as available and important for us within NXT. They just have that lovely new name. So couple of things just I just wanted to show you as we start to just orient ourselves to the look and feel of financial edge NXT. Next, I want to show you reports. This is a big area as you make the transition. We mentioned enhancements. We've mentioned things being more intuitive. Well, reports was a big area in that regard. One important difference, you can see up here at the top, we just have one central reporting area now. As you know today, if you want to run a general ledger report, you go into general ledger and then reports or into accounts payable and then reports. Now within Financial Gen XT, they have all been centralized. I will make a note here. You can filter. So maybe you are a user that is predominantly accounts payable focused. You can absolutely come in here and just see accounts payable reports. It's just a filter. I will make note too, that's a sticky filter. Meaning, if I were to exit and sign out of the system right now, come back in tomorrow, it's still just going to be showing me payables reports until I get rid of that filter just by clicking on that x, and that just opened the system back up. All the reports that you have grown to use and love, they're all here. I also always make a note here, the reports that you have built out, those core reports from financial edge 7 are still maintained. You are not rebuilding them. They just are available within NXT. Also up here at the top, you do have these other tabs. Those are user specific. You can see we have way too many reports in the system. We need a good clean out day here. I tend though just not to spend my time on that tab. I go right to my favorites. This is where I have built certain reports and customize them, and it's just a lot faster to get to the reports that I'm using on a regular basis. What's nice as well, here's some enhancements, and I'm just gonna randomly show you by clicking on some of my top reports. I can run multiple reports all at the same time now within Financial Edge NXT. They are going to process in that bottom right hand corner. They're gonna change from blue to green as they become ready. What's nice though is as those process, my entire system remains available to me. So I can keep working. I'm not limited or used to kinda think I was kinda held captive watching that report run. That has definitely been improved, and there we go. There's some ones that are now ready, and they'll just stay queued up in that corner until I go into them. I do wanna show you one of those reports. I just chose a budget to actual report for today's example. It's gonna feel familiar to you. We did not completely rebuild the reports. Our formats are are pretty well set for us in the accounting space. What's nice though is you do have some interaction on these reports and definitely, some improvements. So I'm sure at least a handful of you, if not all of you, have exported a report a time or 2. Here, of course, you can export. What's nice though is it's a very direct path. So I often and most often export to excel. It's just going to recognize what version of excel I have. I'm not going to get that very long list of excel to choose from. I can also export to a pdf, but what's really nice about this is when I do export this great looking report to excel or PDF, it's gonna look great outside of the system as well. So I no longer have to spend time reformatting those reports, making them look nice again. That's definitely a big improvement for us within financial edge NXT. The interaction that I've mentioned to you, it's really very similar to that blue drill down text I've mentioned a time or 2. But if I have exported this report, this works as a PDF as well. But if I have exported this report and sent it to a user of financial gen x t, maybe one of those view only users that I mentioned, they have the ability to get back into the system if there's something on this report that they have a question about. So I'm just gonna highlight the top row, in this case, contributions default. And as you can see, I'm hovering over that account number. And as I do that, my cursor changes to a hand. Little hyperlink box pops up. It's letting me know I have direct access back into financial edge NXT. So by clicking on that link, it's directing me right back into the system and right to that account in this case. I was specific with my words as far as saying users. Of course, there is a security element at play here, so you do need to be a user and have been given that security right to be able to use that drill down. That's important. But it is a lot faster to get to different levels of detail for our users. So a lot of really in great enhancements, just a a little bit easier, to to utilize the reports. I do like to make note of the visual chart organizer as well. That has fully come into financial at nxt. I actually enjoy making the VCOs more in nxt than I did in the database view. Please note that the ones that you've already built are just going to flow into NXT. You don't have to spend time rebuilding those either. So a lot of just core elements are just gonna be available to you so you can really hit the ground running with reporting. So the first time first half of this, I've been kind of focusing on enhancements, kind of the look and feel, what's been improved or, maybe just changed a little bit as we experienced financial genxt. I wanna make a slight shift to some of the items that are all new for n x t as well. So let's take a look first at the treasury side of the system. This is where your existing bank accounts and credit card accounts are going to flow into the system. Just like today, you can have as many accounts as you may need. Going into one of those accounts, no surprise, what the what what it looks like. So this is just a bank account record. Couple things to note here is we do have that bank feed as well as the credit card feed available to you. We use a partner by the name of Yodlee. They're kind of the industry leader to connect us to those various financial institutions. Once you have set up that bank feed, you can have as much or as often of an interaction with those, transactions as you would like. Up here at the top, it says view and match transactions. This is actually what it looks like. Spoiler alert. You might have already guessed that I'm not in a live environment, but we do get to print end here. Because in a live environment, you're gonna have that bank feed automatically populate the left side of the screen, and then it places it next to your bank register there on the right hand side. There is some automation as well. It will match and clear transactions for you. You can manually do it as well. I know when I first made this transition, I had Raiser's Edge MXT, so I might have had, you know, a couple of gift batches that I sent over and maybe I held them and did one larger deposit. So I could manually match and clear. That's obviously not gonna match in this example, but you kinda get the idea. So you have either way whatever best serves you. Additionally, a couple things I'll point out on this bank record. I really like this tile. It's called pay invoices. This is just queuing up the items that are in the system approved and ready to issue payment. So, of course, we can still print checks, but we do also have the full EFT functionality as well. And what's nice with the EFT functionality is you can actually not only generate that EFT file, but you can also email remittance notices to those vendors. Just give them a heads up that payment is on the way. So just a nice option, and that all just comes with the solution. We are still gonna do reconciliation just right here on that bank record. We're now just going to utilize that bank feed to make it a little bit easier. And that's what's nice about kind of that match and clear activity is you can check-in on that, do it throughout the month, and then reconciliation, hopefully, is a lot faster. I know it was for me when I first made this transition. Right alongside the bank accounts would, of course, be the credit card accounts. And just like the bank accounts, you can absolutely connect any existing credit card accounts that you have. I do make a note here, and this is something that you can look into in the future, but I highly recommend the Blackbaud purchase card. That is a relationship that is direct for us with Regions Bank, and it is a true purchase card. So you can set spending controls by cardholder, spending limits as well, and it's even a rebate card. So just a nice option if you have a lot of credit cards and want those additional controls. It definitely could be something that you wanna look in on it. Now that we've kind of built out the credit card accounts, we've connected that credit card feed. I'm really excited to show you expense management. This is all new. You would know that. This is an area of FinancialgenXt t that really can encompass a lot of processes that might be a bit cumbersome today. Within the accounts payable space from credit card activity to invoice requests to maybe reimbursement requests, check requests, or all of the above, You might be living in an environment that is manual, maybe a bit paper heavy. I know I was before this was available to me. So expense management is just a great opportunity to review those processes that you have and see how you can adapt them with this new functionality. What's nice about expense management as we think about users, and as I've mentioned you kind of have those full core users that you have today. You've got now the opportunity to have view only users. Well, with expense management, you have non financial users. The reason they're they are their own type of user is because when I log in as a non financial user, all I see is expenses and home, and that's it. So it's giving a very small slice of the financial gen x t pie without giving anything else. Those users, the non financial users are unlimited, and that just comes with the system. So we definitely encourage you to to put this into practice and and hopefully help, make things a bit more efficient for you. So let's explore first the credit card side of the house there on the left. Like I mentioned, I would have already created my credit card account and identified who those cardholders might be. And now we're gonna pretend that we're one of those end users. We have a credit card. We've had some transactions. Maybe we're even out and about and doing this on our smartphone. We can do that now too. We would actually just click on work with my charges. And what kicks into gear there on the left hand side is the credit card feed. So that end user will only see their transactions, and they'll be able to select those and then provide the business office with the correct details to match that to your credit card statement and get that paid on time. Some nice options with this is if their direct manager, for example, needs to approve their activity, have eyes on it, you can do that. Approval rules, bid screen there, are unlimited. You can build those however you'd like. So I'm just showing you one example because you can identify what the approval path needs to be. In this case, I approve everything, but if it's above a certain dollar amount, Ryan also approves it. Keep in mind that as these credit card transactions go through that approval process, it is creating an audit trail automatically in the system as well. So, definitely auditors like to see this, and this alleviates you having to maybe chase down physical signatures of approval. As we scroll down as well, you've got distribution options. So you can make this really easy for your end users and build out as many expense categories as might be helpful for you. And this is just an example to that. I've built out airfare in this example, and I don't expect my end users to know all of my account numbers. So that's already prepopulated, but I do want them to populate what project the transaction is related to. So I actually just typed golf in this example, and this is actually how all fields work within financial gen x t. It's just a wide open alphanumeric search, so it's just a lot easier to find information, different records. And I can just quickly select that, and I can move on. And, of course, you can split those transactions if it needs to be paid over a combination of accounts and or projects. Then right here at the bottom, we talked about attachments, but I'll mention it again here because, of course, with within expense management, those attachments, in this case, would be those credit card receipts. And I don't know about all of you, but I tended to have users that lost their receipts from time to time. This is an opportunity for them to be more up to date with that activity because they could actually do this immediately after having that transaction. And when it comes time for the receipt, they just take a picture of it. If they're on their phone, for example, they just take a picture of it, and then it's live attached to Financial Gen XT. Or if they wanna scan them in, they could do that too. Whatever is going to best serve your organization. When they click submit, they're at the bottom. It's gonna go through the approval process, however you've built those out, and then it's gonna flow into accounts payable as credit card activity. The important note is all things coming out of expense management and into the business office are still able to be reviewed and adjusted. So the control stays with the business office ultimately. But we do have the option here to just quickly match that, get that paid, and move on with our other tasks. And the other side to expense management there on the right, my invoice request, very similar activity, but, again, an opportunity to review the different types of requests you might have or reimbursement forms or other forms and consolidate those here. But your end users would just click on new request. You're gonna see really quickly it's very similar to what we just saw on the credit card side. That's on purpose. We've tried to make this very easy, very intuitive for these non financial users to use. So approval processes, distributions, and any and all attachment documentation that you want. The difference on this side is once it's submitted and approved, it's gonna flow into accounts payable as an open invoice transaction that you then can review within the business office. So a lot of goodness with expense management and really, hopefully, helping you out with some manual processes that are that are taking a lot of time today. And as we think about just all things financial edge NXT, it really is a whole new world. There's a lot of extensibility options, and I do like to highlight these towards kind of the end of our time here. The first one being the blackbaud marketplace. We have a lot of partners within blackbaud that have built out integrations with their complementary solutions. So we have created a platform here for you to be able to explore what those solutions might be. I always like to say, kinda like we said earlier, kind of explore what's possible. And then if you need to take it to the next level, you can. And that's where the blackbaud marketplace comes in. So we have partners in here such as Paycor that has an entire HR and payroll solution that's fully integrated with Financial Gen XT. We have partners like Zobrio that have some really great budgeting and reporting solutions. We have additional payroll partners, budgeting partners. They're all here for you to explore and just easily connect with. Additionally, with that, because these are all connected through the API, which is what's the blackbaud sky platform is built on, you also can build your own connections. So we all have the full sky API reference point. So this is your option to maybe allow a developer that you wanna work with to connect financial gen x t with other third party applications that you might be using and create that seamless transfer of data. So that's just all available to you. This is a great resource for those developers. And one more example of an API connection that's already available to you and free, I have gone to a journal entry for this example. This one is a payroll focus, just for example's sake. We're not limited to the payroll. This is really just anything that you need to bring in and have that journal entry auto created. So let me actually show you where this all act started. I didn't have to manually key this information in. In this case, as we come into Excel, I have exported this information from my payroll provider, and I now just need to get it into financial edge NXT. So in in my Excel environment, in the upper right hand corner, you can see I have some extra buttons. These are all what we refer to just Excel add ins. Anybody can go to the Microsoft Store and type blackbaud, and you'll see that they are available there for free download for Financial Edge NXT. The 2 that I use the most would be the one for journal entries and then the other one for budget scenarios. It just allows us to very seamlessly connect to Financialgen XT and bring that information in automatically. So in this case, I have the data and I now just need to connect it. It does quickly walk me through just signing in to Financial Gen XT from Excel, and this is just allowing that authorization to happen so I can share that data. And what will actually happen because in this particular journal entry, I have, of course, my accounts, but I also have to distribute down to the project level in my environment. So it actually will connect to those and then automatically map it and let me know if there's an issue, and I am good to go. What's nice about the Excel add in as well is if any of this information had been incorrect, maybe I transposed a number. I'm pretty good at that. It would highlight in red the exact cell where the problem exists. So it allows me just to quickly fix that, and then I'm on my way. I can just send it on in. And so in this case, as it connects, it'll actually just give me an option to just submit this information, and what it does is auto create the journal entry. So let me take you back into financial gen x t, back to this journal entry. So that is actually how this was created was that Excel add in feature. And so what's nice is it it does arrive in an open status. So it's been auto created, but it when it comes into the system, I can absolutely review it, and then I choose when it's been approved and posted. So maybe some internal processes that you want to to incorporate there. And then, of course, attachments, it's here too. So in this case, that's that journal entry from the Excel side of the house that we were just looking at. I attach a lot within the system. It's just nice for future reference as to how this journal entry came to be. So definitely keep that Excel add in feature in mind. And then one last item, as you saw when we were in Excel, we also have that for the budget scenarios. And so this is just looking in one of the scenarios, and you can see my project information is there. As I mentioned, I distribute down to that level. But at any time through your budget process, if you're working through that in Excel, I know there was a time and a place when we did that. There were people that needed to give input into the budget, but I didn't necessarily want them doing it directly in Financial Gen XT. So we did that in Excel, and then I just use that Excel add in feature to bring that back in and update the budget scenario so I'm not having to rekey or manually update that information. So a lot of ways to extend your system. And just a couple of final thoughts before I hand it back to Marybeth is as we kind of make this transition and think about what that means for your organization, there are just some items that I wanted to close this out on. And that would just be saying, you know, there are a lot of exciting changes, both with deep enhancements along with brand new functionality and features, and they're all ready for you today in financial genxt. So the time is now, and we are here to make this transition as smooth as possible. And as I mentioned earlier, I highly recommend the training through Blackbaud University. It will serve you well as you make this this migration over to Financial Edge NXT. So thank you for your time today. I appreciate it. I hope it was helpful to see pretty high level within Financial Edge NXT. I know Marybeth has some resources if you'd like to schedule a deeper dive demo. But for now, I will hand it back to Marybeth. Okay. Thank you so much, Heather. Don't go too far because we've got a couple of questions that have come through and wanted to take some for the audience. So back at the beginning, we were talking about reporting, and there was a question, will my existing reports come over? That is a great question. I know that was one of my early questions when I was in the in the same seat as all of you. The answer is yes. So those existing core reports from Financial Edge 7 will automatically flow into financial Genex c right alongside your visual chart organizers if you've built those out. But, yes, that's that was intentional so that you aren't having to spend time rebuilding those reports. Awesome. Okay. Another question, we've got. Do you charge for storage? The answer is no. That's a great question. So we do not charge for storage, and I I'll kind of follow-up with another one that's that's often tied to this question is if there's any file size limit or just file limitations. So the answer is no to the limitations. You can really attach whatever type of file you would like, and the file size limit per file is 25 megabytes. So that is why we also have that opportunity to do a hyperlink. If you're wanting to point and keep everything in a file sharing site, sometimes you do have much larger files than that, so you've got options with that as well. But, no, there's not a charge for storage. Awesome. Thanks. And another question. Let's see. Will our existing credit card accounts work if we migrate? Yes. Absolutely. So those existing cards, or you can always look into the Blackbaud purchase card, but the system is going to recognize what bank accounts and credit card accounts you already have built in Financial Edge 7. Okay. And Vicky is asking, will queries also transfer to Financial Edge NXT? They will. So the query functionality is has slowly been coming in to all the different areas of the solution. So you actually now will see just query under each, you know, general ledger, receivables, payables. But, yes, it is pulling in the query the existing queries from the database view. Awesome. And let's see here. Do I need to buy extra user licenses for people to use expense management? The answer is no. So they when they made expense management available, I appreciate how they thought through the the licenses. So those are those non financial users that I mentioned, and they are unlimited, And that just comes with all things financial to next T. And a little side note, because I mentioned it a time or 2, but as we're thinking about users, we have those view only users. They do come in packs of 10. You do get a 10 pack automatically and they're concurrent just like your users are today. So that just means you can have 10 of those users in the system at one time, but you could certainly give access to beyond just 10 people. But a 10 pack of those view only come with it and then unlimited expense management users. Awesome. Thanks. And then one more will take live. It's a good one. I have staff that are asking if they can stay in database view. Is that possible? That's an important question, because as we mentioned, the time is now. So we are fast approaching the total web solution, meaning that those database view features are moving into web view, and they're actually deprecating those in database view. So eventually, all things will be in web view. End of 2024 is the goal. We're pushing pretty hard on that. So really, the time is now. That's why I I'd make a big mention of training is because I know for myself and my staff, training was a big part of us feeling comfortable and confident to move away from doing our day to day jobs in database view. But, yes, by the end of 2024, you're gonna want to have made this transition and make it easy for your team. Thank you, Heather. So we've got a couple more slides to go through. If you still have questions, keep them coming. Heather will watch the chat while we wrap up. So I just like to share these quotes. These are from Financial Edge 7 clients who have migrated over to Financial Edge NXT, and I like to call out the middle quote here. So Rebecca is referring to not only the availability of early adopter programs, but also to our community and idea portal. Our engineers are in there to ask customers frequently about improvements and changes and then actually develop and push out those requested feature changes based directly on that feedback that they're getting. And we have got large feature releases that are slated every couple of months while we also push out smaller scaled updates as often as every other week. And there's no downtime when updating financial edge NXT so the engineers are able to quickly push out those improvements. And like you saw earlier, we provide communication about future changes directly in product when you log in. You can even access the recent changes section to see that full list of updates. And, of course, you're gonna get all those updates immediately without the need to install anything. To install anything. And as some of you may already be aware, we host biannual product update briefings for all of our solutions including Financial Edge and XT. These take place in the spring and the fall, so we definitely encourage you all to attend those to get the latest news about Financial Edge NXT and any other Blackbaud solutions that you may be using or interested in. And you can catch the most up to date sessions at the link listed on your screen. So I wanna thank everyone for joining today. As a reminder, if there are any questions we didn't get to, we'll make sure to follow-up with you. And you're also gonna get an email in the next 24 hours with the link to this recorded presentation. If you'd like to revisit it or share it with any of your colleagues, we definitely encourage you to do so. You're also gonna have the option to schedule a call with us if you'd like to speak with your account team about moving to Financial Edge NXT. So thank you so much, and enjoy the rest of your day.
