Transcript for "From Gifts to Growth: Expanding Online Giving with Membership and Constituent Forms": Hello, everyone, and welcome to our webinar today from gifts to growth, expanding online giving with membership and constituent forms. We are excited to have you here and to walk through some of the new forms that are, starting to roll out, in online giving. So just a little webinar housekeeping. If you're new to our system, audio for this webinar is being broadcast through your computer speakers. If you do not hear me, you can either, adjust your audio settings. You might need to turn your volume up or refresh your browser for audio or technical issues. You will receive a link to this webinar recording by email within twenty four hours of this recording. And, make sure that you reference on the right right hand side of your screen, the docs tab. That does have some nice reference materials that you can look at your leisure. Please use the q and a also on the right hand side to submit questions today. We are expecting a big group, so we may not get to everyone, But, we will do an analysis of the questions that are left over afterwards and, follow-up with, ones that are asked often or, important questions, in a in a in a future blog post. And then, use the cogwheel below to adjust your settings as well. And, I see a question that came in. The docs will not be sent to you after the webinar. You will need to download them. Alright. My name is Samantha McGuinn. I'm a product manager here at Blackbaud. Lacey Krueger is joining me today, also a product manager here at Blackbaud. And, hopefully, you might have, joined some of our webinars before. We're really excited to get these new forms in front of you and, see what you think, show you what they do, and, as always, get some feedback. So, easy, easy agenda today. We're gonna walk through membership form. We're gonna walk through constituent form. We will have lots of q and a time within this, this setting. So we'll take some questions in the middle of each section, and then we've got time at the end for q and a. We do have a full hour today, so, we did wanna keep this agenda light. There's a lot to go through with these forms, but we should have plenty of time to address, some of your questions. And with that, I will give it over to Lacey to walk us through our membership form. Thank you, Sam, and hello, everyone. Thanks for being here today. We are excited to be releasing membership forms very soon. We have just wrapped up an early adoptor program with membership forms where we got some amazing feedback from some of your peer organizations. Some of you might be on the call today, so hello if you are. And I'm gonna walk through an end to end demo of the forms for you today. When these release, they will allow your donors to purchase memberships, and they will include options to add an additional donation, add additional members to the membership, create a gift of membership, and also supporting free memberships. The membership records get created automatically like your gift records. They get linked together and they flow through online data review if you have that feature enabled. The forms feature a drag and drop designer just like standard forms in online giving, and they can be embedded on your website, which is the approach we recommend, or you can also use them hosted by Blackbaud. So without further ado, I'm going to share my screen. I have to stop sharing. Always have to relearn my technology here. Okay. Okay. Here we go. So here we are in RE NXT and membership forms will be found under online giving membership forms. The first time you come here, you'll see a prompt to create your first form. And then after you've created that, you'll start seeing a list like this. And you'll be able to see some basic statistics and, make changes to the forms in here. Let's go create a new form so we can see the whole process. And, basically, the form designer will look a lot like standard forms if you're used to that. On this first screen, you'll title your form and then you can opt to enable gift of membership here and additional donations here. If you decide to use an additional donation, you will have to select a fund for those funds to go into. Note that if that fund matches your membership fund, they'll combine into a single gift. From here, you'll select the memberships to display on the form, and these will be a list of your RE memberships. So you can choose which ones you'd like to show. And then, optionally, you can choose to populate hidden fields for the gift record, and you can do campaign, appeal. You can also use constituent codes for your constituent records, and you can opt to have a separate one for members and then those that are recipients of gift memberships. I'm gonna leave those blank for the demo. On the payment and fees section, this looks just like standard forms. You can opt to enable direct debit. If you have more than one payment processor, you'll see that selection up here. And then you'll select your test mode, live mode, and your fee cover options. And here we are in the membership form builder. The, the membership component shows up here. It's a drag and drop editor. You'll be able to style and move things around, change labels, change the fonts, etcetera. So this is the default view of the form. You'll need to go into the membership component, and you can do things like add a description that shows on the form. For each membership, you'll select a designation. And then in here, you can adjust your dues and your number of members allowed. So this way, you don't have to go back to the database to make changes to these things. It will respect the max limits on the membership record, but you can make adjustments here if you'd like to. I'm gonna make an additional number here so we can see that in play. Alright. And, I'm gonna click done. So, from here, you can make other changes. If you are using the gifted membership option, you can swap out the labels for that gift membership. So, when they select the box, the labels change. That makes it pretty easy from a user experience perspective. There's our additional gift option that has a little calculator next to it and then your billing information, of course. You can drag on billing contact phone, consent, and give comments there. And this is just a header that's not present. Okay. So, let's go to confirmations. Again, this is just like standard forms. You can use the default content, which is what I'm gonna show. You can design the email and make changes to that. We're hoping to bring in the membership category as a merge field in email designer so you'll be able to drop that in and personalize that thank you. And then the notifications go to your internal users to notify them when the form is completed. You can set a minimum gift amount there for that. Alright. That is the form building process. From there, you'll see the different ways you can embed the form. I'm gonna use this launch from URL to demonstrate the donor side of the membership form. Alright. So, here's the donor view. Again, we highly recommend embedding these. It's prettier than just a white background. But here you go. This is the hosted version. You can select a membership here. You can choose a different one. And you'll see here the additional members are affected by which one I select. So this one did not allow additional members, but this one did. So that additional member fields show here. I'll do this as a gift. I'll add an additional member. I'll add an add additional gift because I'm feeling generous today, and then I'll fill out my information as the purchaser. There is address completion like we have on standard forms as well. And then we'll go into the payment flow. There's the donor cover ask right there. Alright. Once the payment goes through, you'll see the default thank you screen. And it's been updated to show the membership specific details. So you can see it's a gift. You can see the membership title, gift recipient, additional members, etcetera. Now, let's take a look at how this flows into RE. This site is configured to review all transactions and online data review. So, once that membership comes in, it needs to be reviewed in online data review before it makes it into batch. The online data review settings are in gift management over here, and you'll need to go into this review section to look at your new constituents. Alright. So this is the membership. This is a gifted membership, so there's two constituents associated with it. There's me as the donor and then Alice as the member. And you'll see, it matches to me, so I'm gonna go ahead and link it to my own record. This is the online data review flow, and that one's linked. And then Alice also has, an existing record, so I'll go ahead and link to her. I use her for testing a lot. Alright. And so those two are linked. Once the constituents are linked, the gift will make it into batch. Sometimes it takes a second for this to happen. So the gift, makes it into batch. Your membership transactions will come in as separate batches, so you'll see a a separate callout for that. And then, here it is. So here's my new batch, and I can go in and approve this one so we can see all the records come through. Okay. So there's my gift. Just click approve, and then let's go check everybody out. Okay. So here's my member and it probably added a second membership to her. Let's see here. Yeah. So we've got two memberships because I used her for testing the other day. But, basically, the membership will show here on her record, and then, you can click on that now. And there's some membership management features available in here. More to come, that is part of the unified view work, so more functionality will come into the screen over time. But for now, it links to the gift here. So there's the gift that was made. You can see I'm the donor. And then we can go over to this gift too. And we can see how it links back to the membership. So, it'll show the membership here in related transactions. So, that's it. That's the end to end workflow for membership forms. I will pause here for questions. Alright, Lacey. They are fast and furious. First off, is this avail can you repeat a little bit how, tells us available? Who has it today? Some people are looking for it and not finding it. Okay. It's not available yet. We just finished an early adopter program with it, and we are working through, some details about some details about online data review and getting some more data in there. So we're working through those changes. We're hoping to roll these out in waves in the summertime. So look for more information about that, coming soon. Perfect. Another question, can you add membership or gift custom fields? Some of us may remember these as attributes, to the form. And what two part question. And what about benefits? Okay. Membership, custom fields are coming. That's likely to be available when we roll these out to you guys. We're that was a kind of fast follow feature after EAP. So you will be able to pull in custom fields. You'll be able to use membership custom fields, gift custom fields, and constituent custom fields. So that's coming soon. And then, what was the other question? Oh, benefits. So benefits will get, will get rolled in. So the benefits that's that's attached to the membership will automatically get attached to the gift, and there is some functionality coming out in, grid view batch to be able to manage the benefits as well. So look forward to that as you start using these forms. Perfect. Can you talk a little bit about, renewals? You've had some questions about if it supports auto renewal, and just renewals in general. Good question. So that is the functionality that we're working on right now. The idea would be that you could, in online data review, make a decision about whether this is a new membership or a re renewal. And so that functionality will be bundled in with the release when it happens. Perfect. Does the membership get added once the batch has been approved? I think I think more of the question is when does the membership record actually get added in that in the process? membership record I'm gonna have to think about this a second. So once you create I think the membership record gets added before the batch. So once you create the constituent that has the membership associated, it creates their constituent record. I believe it goes ahead and creates their membership record. And then when the batch is approved, the gift gets tied to it. So that's kinda the order of operations there. Perfect. My screen keeps going. As you guys add questions, my screen keeps, moving, and I lose them. But keep adding questions. I did see one question about what happened to Joan, so I wanted to reshare and show Joan here. She did make it make it onto the record. Okay. So here's the membership that was just added, and here's Joan on the cards. So that's the way that the, the additional members get added. Perfect. Question about the automated email confirmation. They're saying we would prefer to receive an exact copy of what the donor receives rather than the email we currently receive. This is related to more than just membership, and notes, online giving, online registration, and online membership forms. Question is, is there any discussion about changing this? I can I can take this one? Not currently, but I definitely recommend adding that into the idea bank. There might be a current idea in the idea bank around this, but definitely looking, and hearing feedback about that. So thank you for, asking. I saw another question about Joan. Joan is not a constituent, and she's not a relationship. She comes in as an additional member card an additional card on the membership. This is how Online Express currently works. We are talking about, adding the ability on that membership record to convert her or promote her to a constituent or a non constituent. So look for more information on that. But right now, it just that's the default functionality is it's just a card. Perfect. Would payment options include a pledge or pay later option? No. Not at this time. Okay. If creating a new record, is a member going to be separate from a constituent record? So what records are created from a membership? The yes. If it creates a new record if if you create a new constituent, it creates a new constituent record and a new membership record that's attached to that constituent record. Perfect. And we'll take one more. Is this feature an added cost? Do you wanna talk about the membership the membership module in general? Yes. If you have membership module in our e, then this will be available at no extra cost. I believe you would need to talk to your, CSM or sales partner to figure out about getting that added if it's not already on your subscription. Perfect. And then, I did see a few questions come out in on do do memberships need, are they only paid, or can you have free memberships? You can have free memberships. The way that that will work is that depending on your online data review setting, it would come through online data review so you could match it to the correct constituent or create a new one. It would not appear in batch if it's a free membership. So, unless it has that additional gift, like, if because you should probably give them the opportunity to give a gift. So if it has that, it will show up in batch. But if there's no gift, the membership won't show up in batch. Perfect. And then, somebody asked about bulk processing, which, which I think is a little different in online express. Can you, talk a little bit about the automatic processing option and how you've got the different options with online data review on how you want to review? Sure. So online data review is a function of gift management and RE. So I'll just show this real quick. Again, I did see a bunch of questions about this. So if you're not used to processing donations in RE, you might not be familiar with this. So, essentially, it's in gift management, and you'll go to gifts overview. And so, when you start processing gifts through RE, this will be where you manage them all and where you manage your batches. And online data review is over here. And by default, it's set to automatic matching, which means that the system looks for an exact match for the transaction details to a constituent in your database. So if I came in, entered the same name, same email, same address that you have on file for me, it would automatically add that gift to my constituent record. That was the only available option for some time. So we released online data review a couple of years ago to give you options to review the data and decide whether or not it needs a new record or not. So the second setting only, only puts the person in your queue if it's not an automatic match. So let's say I entered an email address you didn't have on me. Then I would show up in that, queue that we looked at, and you could look and see, oh, this is the same Lacey I already have, and you could match that to, to my record. You can also opt to review and match all transactions, which just gives you hands and eyes on every single thing that comes in. This setting affects donations, memberships, constituent forms, which Sam will show, and events as well recently released. If you don't see it yet, we do have one more wave for events, and so, that is supposed to be coming next week. Alright. Let's let's switch to, constituent form. So I'm gonna go right into a screen share here. Alright. Lacey, can you let me know when you can see my screen? I can see it. Alright. Perfect. So Lacey just showed membership forms, and so I'm gonna walk through another new form type, that is under online giving into constituent forms. So, constituent forms is, pretty vague name, and it's it's vague for a reason because, you can use this form anytime you want to collect constituent information or update constituent information for non logged in users. So, if you're using, OLX for an email sign up form, this is the form that you wanna look to for your modern solution. If you are using, a form for a profile update, I know BBNC has some forms that can be used in that, in that manner. This is, again, another the form that you wanna look towards. Constituent forms will be under online giving. If anyone doesn't have it, feel free to post in the, q and a. This is out to about three quarters of, our e and x t customers today. We have one more wave to go. So everyone will have it next week. But if you don't have it and you want it, early, go ahead and, let us know in the q and a, and I'll get that turned on for you today. So starting off with a new form and all of this, is intended to look very familiar. So what Lacy just showed you is very similar to our standard donation form, which is very similar to our constituent form setup. So, here, you're gonna name your form. And so I'm just gonna call this an interest form, for today's example. You can choose to assign a constituent code. So this is going to only be applied to, excuse me, new constituents that are created through this form. So based on what your form is about, you might wanna put a constituent code on those new records or you might not. It's really up to you. We do have an abbreviated version of the test in live mode. Test mode for the constituent form is really just going to let you test the end to end, the the end user side, process. So it's not gonna send any data through. It's just gonna let you test what the form looks like and then, down into your email confirmation as well. But it will not it will not send records down, so you can really just kind of make sure your images or you have the fields that you want, with that test mode. But for now, I'm gonna put this in live mode and go right into my form builder. So, this, again, should look pretty familiar with what Lacey just showed her for those of you that might be using, our standard donation form today. By default, you're gonna have first name, last name, and email address. You can click into these to edit your labels. You can also click into the the header that's automatically added to change the text, again, to whatever, you want for your users to see on this form. And then over here on the right in the form designer, you can drag and drop additional fields. So, we've got basic fields that you can include such as address. You can include phone number. And for certain fields, you do have options on whether you wanna make them required. And with all of them, you can also relabel. With the majority of them, you can also relabel. We have consent options. So email sign up is a major use case for this form. And so, depending on the consent channels and categories you have set up in, Razer's Edge and Razer's Edge NXT, you can determine what you want to include on this form. So, you know, if I just want this to be, you know, around email and mail, then I might want to just include email as the channel. I can relabel that heading. I can include a channel opt in. If you want people to be able to opt in to all, all of your emails, then that is you might wanna include that. But you can also choose to include, granular categories. So, again, based on your Raiser's Edge, channel and category setup, if you have, you know, my examples here, I've got an annual campaign, I've got lottery emails, and I have a newsletter. So I can determine which ones I want to include and not include on this specific, form. So I will I will include all of them. You can also rename them, and relabel them here. So, I'm gonna take out mail and other. And this, you know, this is a sample database, so it might have more options than you are used to seeing in yours. I'll keep in phone, and I'll keep in SMS. Well, maybe I'll maybe I'll not include SMS, and I'll not include social. You can copy these forms. So once you have these set up, it's really easy to just copy so that you, you know, if you're if you're you want your consent options to always be the same, that's definitely a great way to create new versions of of a similar form. And then, you can change the label. So you can see over here on the preview, we've got would you like to hear from us. If you wanna use different copy, you can do that. You can choose whether or not you wanna include a consent statement. Consent statement is written on two consent records. If, depending on where what region you are in, if you have to adhere to GDPR, then you are required to include consent statement, but you can change, what this is. But that will be written, into the record so that your you can always go back in and audit what your users actually agreed to. So for some areas and regions, that's important. You can decide to, to select these by default. Again, based on your region, that may or may not be admissible, so make sure you check with your legal departments on that. And then there's also a privacy policy, link that you can display as well. That privacy policy is set up in settings and is used, across your forms. And then finally, I have custom fields. So, you will want to set these up in Raiser's Edge, NXT first. But these are constituent custom field or constituent attributes. Some of you may know them as. But, really, this is where if you want to, you know, collect interest, if you want to use this more as a lightweight survey, then you can include as many custom fields as you want. You can relabel it. You can make it required. We do support, multiple attributes or custom field types. So this particular, one is a yes, no. We do support text custom fields, table custom fields, and those are the three that are most commonly used, is between text, yes and no. And table depending on your table setup, it will display either as a multi select or as a single select, based on how you set that up, in Razer's Edge NXT. Alongside of this, we have, various things that you can do to, you know, add context for your user. So you can add additional headers, put a little note in here, and you can add additional text. So, you know, you could really use this to you know, depending on on, again, what you're using this form for to break up the the user experience, to give them instructional text, even, you know, if you wanted if I wanted to add an extra space or two, you know, I could do that. That doesn't look great, but, but you get my point essentially in just designing out the form. You can also add images as well, divide the dividers as well. So with that, you've got, a few options for your body styles, body fonts, and colors. If you are using your dividers, which we do have dividers in here by default with the default styles, you know, how you want those to be, to look. If you want them a little bit heavier, you can do that. You can style your headers, the consent option buttons. So these are the yes, no buttons in this section as well as the submit button. So you're gonna wanna go through these and have it match your branding colors, which, you know, is pretty standard as well. In the confirmations, so, again, some pretty, if you're using standard donation form, they should be familiar. You can use the default content or choose to redirect to one of your web pages, at the confirmation after somebody submits. Here's your email, subject line from name from email that you set up. You can open your email designer to design out your email. So I don't have a fancy design in here right now, but you can, you know, drag in images. You might have a header image that you want to include that you can drag in. All of the information that the the user inputs will be part of this transaction details merge field. So if you want to include that, you can keep it. Otherwise, when you edit the text under merge, you can see you can if you just wanna keep it simple and say thank you first name, you can do that. You can also have the transaction details and the transaction date. And then finally, our form notification. So if you want and I do especially recommend this with the, with this form. So this doesn't go into a batch. So there is less of a, a track to be able to follow these along once you have approved them in online data review. So you can choose to send notifications, to up to 10 recipients. So if you want every time somebody, submits, if you want them to also send a notification email to you, then put your email address in here, along with anyone else at your organization that needs to receive those notifications. And that's gonna have all of the fields that that user submitted. Like someone mentioned earlier, it is not an exact replica of the email confirmation that the user got when they submitted the form, but it is a more, regimented, email that just includes all of the fields that were entered on this form. So that is, the form setup. You do once you've created a form, you can see the summary with your submissions and visits when it was created and modified. And then just like, our standard form, just like the membership form, you can embed this on your website. And, ultimately, I know not everybody can do that. That is what we recommend, just because then you have your full website experience around this form. So you will need to copy these two scripts. Once you have the loader script on your website, if you've got it in a in a location that loads on every page, you just need the second part of the, of the script in order to load the form within your website, or you can use our, Blackbot hosted form. So if you're in a pinch or if your organization, doesn't allow embedded forms, then you can use this, copy URL for the Blackbaud hosted form. And if you are using the hosted version of the form, I definitely recommend that you put a, a little bit more time into putting some images in, putting additional text at the top, making sure your logo is on there so that, you know, it is, you know, somebody trusts where they came from and and when they get to the form that it is your form. But here is the form. So, like, this is like I said, this is a pretty, I put everything on this form. So that is, what I've got. I am gonna go into a different form that I've already created. So I've got two examples here that I'll show, starting with a email sign up form. So if, you know, you were just getting trying to collect email sign ups, then you can see here, I've got, you know, my first name, last name, email, and then I've just got my consent options to fill out. So I'll go ahead and submit this. And I'm gonna sign up for the monthly newsletter and not the annual campaign. I don't want mail. I don't want phone, but SMS is fine. You can see here there's that privacy policy link that links to the URL that I have in settings. And then I update my profile, and there I go. So I get this nice confirmation that's just really a, confirmation of what I just submitted. You will receive a confirmation email as well. And then, this also will go into online data review. So right now, at least for now, this is in gifts, which I know it doesn't make a ton of sense for constituent updates, but, we did wanna make sure that we, had the same, data review process. And so for now, this is gonna sit under gifts alongside of donation forms where donation forms has come in, and alongside your membership and, you coming soon for most of you, the event registrations as well. So Lacy showed this before. So your online data review preference, will, the same preference will work for constituent form submissions. So you can see here, I have two, I've turned turned online data review on. So, like I said, you do have an automatic matching option if you want these to just go through, but, not everybody wants to do that. There is a new filter. So I have a donation in here as well. But you can see here, we have added a filter now. And so based on the types of transactions that have come through, if I just wanted to see my constituent form transactions, I can use that filter. So if you are using event registration, you have event registrations coming in, then that source, will be available for you to filter to. So you can see here I have, my form submission, and it gives me some of the information that was entered. I don't have a possible match. It's looked through. It didn't find a Jimmy Frize. It looked at the, email address in this case since I didn't have address on the form. There is less to match to. So, I I can go ahead and search. You can choose to include relationship records, deceased records, or, to search organization records, which right now this form is intended to be for, individuals and not organizations. Let me see if I can find I might not have a lot of, great matching criteria here. I'll put my name in so you guys can see what the possible matches look like. And now I'm in here. There we go. So, if you wanted to if you wanted to look at those possible matches, you know, I you can, click between them, and this will open up the constituent on the right hand side so you can review based on the information that came in. So you can look through that, constituent record from here. But this is a new record, so I am going to go ahead and, just go ahead and link. Actually, I'm going to go ahead and create a new individual since I didn't find one. If you do link to an existing record, it will walk you through a process of showing you for the basic biographical data what data has changed, and you will have options on, if you want to, you know, keep that new address, what you wanna do with the old address, if it needs to move to a different, type, those sorts of things. But since I have a new individual, it will not lock me through that. It will pull open the add individual form, so I can make changes before I create this new individual. And so that constituent is created. That transaction is now, out of my queue, and that is my constituent form submission. And, real quick here, I'm gonna go and just show you a second form example. And it has been really interesting. You know, we've been rolling this out in waves for, almost a month a little over a month now. And, you can see what's been interesting is looking at the types of forms that, some of you on this call or others have been creating, and it's you know, this real form is really being used for a lot of different things, so it's been really interesting. I've seen profile update forms, alumni update forms, volunteer interest forms. So, you know, that's really, you know, what it was intended for. But this is a profile form where, you know, I put in all of the bio fields. I've got address and phone, and I've got my additional interests here. So three three different custom fields that I'm asking that are all optional, that I'm I'm allowing people to go through and look at. So, that is constituent form. So this is, like I said, most of you should have this today. If you don't, let me know, and I can add it for you. Otherwise, everyone will get access to this next Tuesday, which is our general availability release. And, and that is, that is the plan for constituent forms. We are looking at feedback around, you know, what other fields you want to, you want to allow people to update, and so that's something that we will look at as we look at future additions to this form. What do I have for questions, Lacey? There's a few questions just about the general, what would you use this form for? What is this form for? So maybe if you could just touch on that a minute. Yeah. So, it's really for anytime you want to collect data that you want to come into Raiser's Edge. So, you're collecting constituent information. So if you like, if this isn't something that you want to use if you don't want that data to come into our NXT, but anytime like, I've seen people use this as an acquisition form that they put on their website, that's just, you know, collecting, collecting, you know, first name, last name, email, maybe address. That is, a way to build your email list, so that you can solicit them and, you know, tell them about your cause in the future. So, you know, like I said, volunteer interest forms, just how do you want us to interface with you, the donor, or the constituent? And that's really where the custom fields can be whatever you want them to be. So you can create essentially custom questions to ask. But, again, I think the the qualifier for this is if you want this to come in to our NXT as a new constituent or update existing constituent records. That's that's where you wanna use this form. So it does not take a gift. It's not planned to take gifts if you need to take a gift. That's where our donation forms and our membership form comes in, event registration as well. So it's really just a data collection tool, and an acquisition tool. Great. Yes, there are some requests for enabling this. A lot of requests for enable this on my site, please, Okay. and a lot of requests for additional data to capture on the form, including title, suffix, employer. There's some others in there too, but, we'll have some great feedback from the questions asked today. There are some more questions. I will tell oh, go ahead. you, one one addition to that. I can tell you, and I hope everyone joins our product update brief next week or signs up so you can view the recording, but title and suffix is coming this year. So, just a heads up on that. I'm sure people will be very happy about that. There's questions about what happens to this data after you match it. Does it automatically up the constituent profile? Is there any way to see a list of responses and that sort Yes. So once you, once you match it in the tool in the online data review tool, it will write? those updates to the constituent record. So, you know, and let as I and I didn't show this. I don't know that we have time to show this today, but there are some you know, if you're matching to an existing record, there are some interfaces that take you through, like, the name changed or the address changed or the email address changed. But once you finalize that link, it does update that constituent record. Definitely, I'm hearing your feedback on, on a way to see what came through. So that is not something that we have now. We just have those high level overall stats, but definitely hearing that be feedback. So appreciate that. We will take a closer look at that. There's there have also been some questions about permissions. I could probably answer this. So, you know, like, I don't want some staff to have access to membership forms, but I want them to access donation forms. So each form type has its own set of permissions and online giving. If they're a solution admin, they'll have access to all of them, but you can limit access based on individual form types. There have also been some questions about online data review and limiting what goes through that. We will pass that along as feedback. So, I think the more types of data we start showing in online data review, the more people wanna be able to have different settings for each type of form. So, that's not planned today, but something that we'll review and discuss internally. I know that's that would be helpful for a lot of people. Yep. Let's see what else we have here. I just caught one. Can we do not use online giving, will we still be able to use constituent forms? And the answer is yes. So this, this is just a form that lives, under online giving. So you can, you can use only constituent forms, and not not donation forms. That's perfectly fine. Although we hope that you use our donation forms. So so, yeah, it's really up to you on what you wanna set up. And if you only one form type applies to you, out of the the three we have available in online giving today, then that's, that's up to you to set up, and just create what you need to create. There's a question about will it update so let's the question is if you send a survey today and you included custom fields and you sent that same survey next year, included the same custom fields, would it overwrite the data in the custom field? I feel like there's a nuance to this that I'm not remembering right now, but, I do believe that, Okay. yes, it will update, what's there today. So it is this is it is expected to be the most current response. So it will update. Okay. There's a question about the loader script and if the loader script is the same for constituent forms, membership forms. So this is for embedding the forms on your website. Yep. So the loader scripts are the same. You might notice if you're using standard donation forms today today and to embed, it is just one consolidated script. And what you saw today with both membership form and constituent form, it's two separate scripts. We are, moving over to that format because really and this is true even in the standard donation form script as well. The first part, you need it on the page, but you also can put it in a central location, part of your temp your website template, for example, and then you don't have to include that piece on every single page. So, so sorry. That's a little bit technical, which I I know, a lot of us might not fully get that. But, essentially, at the at the core, it is the same loader script. We are just making a small tweak on how it's presented, for those customers that wanna have, you know, that that have that website format that they can just include it. And that way, they can put put it in on any page on their website. It's also the same loader script that our optimized form uses. So it it is really has become just a Blackbaud loader script. Great. And then the individual part is that, that ID, that div ID that, identifies which form to load. Okay. There are some questions about online data review and, like, what the best practice is. I would say the middle selection, so review unmatched is what we would recommend for most organizations because that's gonna keep your queue manageable but allow you to look at anything that will create a new record, essentially. So that was one question. Seeing what else is in here. Prefer adding lot of very to the form. that we will probably Can you query constituents? Yes. There's a question there's a question of can you query constituents who have completed the form, which I think if you had I feel like you would need to do that with a custom appeal or something. I'm I'm not sure how you would do that. Yeah. It seems don't, like you could. yeah, I don't, I don't think so off the top of my head, but I can double check on that. I think at one point, we considered, we considered adding an attribute, like, a constituent attribute when a form was filled out. Doesn't quite match. That format doesn't quite it's not quite as fluid as it is for donation forms because the constituent record may have been created already. So, so this first version doesn't have a way to query the the records that are updated, but that's definitely something I'll take back to our design team. So I know we've started thinking about that. We just haven't solutioned it all the way yet. Okay. There's a lot of questions about how to update consent, which I'm trying to figure out, but I'm really not sure. So we should we'd probably have to get back to them. Do you know how to update your consent That is? probably a webinar. Yeah. That is a webinar on its own. Let's we will take that feedback back and see if we can work with marketing on either another webinar or a blog post about that, because, absolutely, that is an important part of this process. Is there a place to specify for constituent forms the type of address or phone number being updated? So right now, it does just take one, and it that is a setting that is set for all of your forms. So, in online giving settings, you set what address type, you want address entries to come into. Definitely with constituent form, you know, part of as we built this out, you know, we wanted to keep it as familiar as possible by following some of the standard form, patterns. But we definitely see there's areas with a constituent form, especially where you would want more granular data. And so, yes. I know that is in the idea bank. Definitely go vote on that, and it's something that we will consider for the future. Is there a limit to the number of custom fields we can include on the form? Not that I found, not that I found in testing. So consider that a no. Definitely wanna think about your your user experience with that, though. It is just a single step form, so it's not a multistep form. So as you think about how many custom fields, you how many questions you have burning need to ask, You know, you might wanna set up, an email series that links to different forms instead, just so you don't overwhelm, your users. But, but, yeah, something for us to think about. Okay. Alright, Lacey. I think we should go back to the, the presentation, dev. Yes. the deck, and finish us up. So we have gone through constituent form q and a. Thank you for all of your questions. Just a quick bonus. So, you know, this webinar was intended to be around expanding, expanding to different form types. And so that's what we spent the majority of our time on today. I did wanna just let everybody know, that we did have a few releases this week that some of you might have keep been keeping an eye out for for donation forms. We did release pledge bill me later. So for pledge gift types, you can add a bill me later option, that will allow you to, to go and get a payment, or allow somebody to send in a check after the fact instead of using automatic processing. So that is available to everybody today. We've also, based on a lot of idea bank votes, added in package support for hidden fields. This is, this is, you know, something that obviously, you know, you guys know better than me. You set this up in Raiser's Edge, and, it it ties into your appeals. So, with donation forms, and with membership forms, you can add hidden fields, which, you you previously, you could add the appeal, and the campaign, but now you can also add package as well. So, we're excited to get that out the door, close some ideas in the ideas bank, and, you know, obviously, always, waiting for additional feedback as you guys try these things out. So I think, Lacy, unless you have questions that you want to any of anything else we wanna go through, I think we will probably wrap this up for today. We have hold on a second. I did wanna make a, a call out to next week's product update briefing. So if you guys aren't aware, next week is Blackblood's big product update briefing week. So Raiser's Edge, has their product update brief. We have a payments, product update brief, data intelligence as well. So, definitely go to the website. It is, in your docs tab as well as the link is, is viewable here, but you can go there to register for all of our product update briefs. Like I mentioned before, if you can't make it at the at that time, still go ahead and register. And, and then you will automatically get the recording to view later. So, look forward to seeing you there. And, also just wanted to make sure you guys are aware of our donation form workshops. So, you know, online giving is expanding. We still have a lot of, references and resources available for donation forms that we will be expanding for these new form types as they get a little further out the door, but encourage you to join our donation form workshops. If you, have not tried our donation forms or, haven't tried them in a while, we encourage you to join a workshop. We have a really great host of those workshops that will help you get started. It's a hands on workshop, where you can, create your forms together. And then, the product to our link, we are I know that we were updating that. That link was incorrect in the docs tag tab. I apologize for that, but we will make sure you get an updated link as well. So lots of resources if you're new to online giving. And and please join you know, make sure you go to the community and ask questions. If you have questions, that's a great resource. And, also, we're always looking for, ideas as we go through our prioritization processes, in the ideas bank. So, if, you know, you try something out, it's not quite working for you or you want that that one extra thing, definitely go into the ideas bank and, add it or vote on existing ideas because that does help our prioritization. So with that, I thank you. Thanks so much for your time today and lots of great questions and interaction. We will be taking a look through those and looking at the questions we didn't get to, and probably put out a blog post, in a few weeks. So stay tuned for that and, you know, just thank you for your interest today, and we will be back again, I'm sure. Thanks, y'all. Thanks, everyone.
