Transcript for "Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT® Executive Insights": Hello, everyone, and welcome. So excited to see you all. We have our chat open so if you want to put in there where you're from. My name is Mary Jones. I've been with Blackbaud for seven years now and I'm currently from Greenville, South Carolina. I'm really excited to introduce you all. Tritt's here with us. She'll be doing leading the transition to unified view. This is our executive series, and we're gonna be talking a little bit about, the product updates and where we have, at an executive level and that focus. But before we get started, I wanna do some housekeeping. So your audio should be coming through your computer. And if you're not hearing me, you could just do a quick refresh and see if that works for you. Otherwise, you could put in q and a, and I'll try to help you with that. If you're having even more technical difficulties, I recommend that you just reboot, come in, come out and that should help. Today, we have several people with us joining us, and Tritt and I will try to get to as many of your questions as possible. If we don't get to all of them we do apologize, but we're so glad that you're here. Please check out our docs. We have a bunch of links in there that are going to be helpful after this presentation, and you can find that on the right next to the chat. If Do you have any questions for Tritt? Please put them in the q and a. Chat moves pretty quickly. I'm the only one back here helping with q and a and the chat. So, if you have a real question that you want Tritt to answer, please put it in the q and a, and I will try to get that to Trit in the presentation or, at the end when we have time for questions. This will be recorded and will be sent out to you after the presentation in approximately forty eight hours. And then if you would like to, anybody that hasn't already registered for this and you want them to see the on demand, you can simply send the link to them, and they can actually register for it and pick up the on demand. So we'll be doing a survey at the end too so that we can continue to improve and get better. Without further ado, it is my pleasure to turn this over to Tripp. Awesome. Thank you, Mary. I have to say the chat just caught my eye. Paula Thompson. I don't know what fighting okra is, but I am a huge fried okra fan. So I'd love to learn more about that. But I'm Trent Mulligan, and I lead the product team for Raiser's Edge NXT. And today, we're gonna discuss how we're moving from fragmented work flows to a unified AI powered fundraising solution. This isn't just a product transition. It's a shift in how fundraising work gets done in the future. The reality is the complex the complexity is increasing, but capacity is not. Fundraising teams are managing more donors, more channels, and higher expectations than ever before. At the same time, risk, compliance, and accountability pressures continue to grow. And while AI has the potential to help, generic approaches introduce risk. So what matters is purpose built AI inside workflows. The key takeaway is this. These pressures aren't solved with more tools. They require a fundamentally different way of working. So how do we harness the very technology that is bringing us this complexity to help us manage it? We look purposely through our systems to determine where within the workflows that you use today we can engineer more efficiently, maybe even do it differently. Maybe we don't have to print the report anymore and walk it over to a desk. We can help pick and choose, select areas of the software we can automate, especially with AI, infusing intelligence that supports you more. We're enhancing your capacity across all Blackbaud solutions with responsible use of AI, and we're basing this on forty five years of experience supporting and enhancing the work of fundraising professionals like yourselves. And we're seeing the shift clearly in the market. Online giving is continuing to grow, and more importantly, growth is being driven by mid and major gifts. At the same time, expectations for speed and personalization are rising, and compliance pressures continue to grow. The implication is clear. This is not just about expanding teams. It's about focusing your effort in eliminating wasted work, and that's exactly the shift that we're designing for. So what does that shift actually look like in how we build and deliver razor's edge and XT? It means changing how the work gets done. We're putting in AI and automation directly into your workflows behind every prospect, every next step, and every follow through so your team can focus on the work that only humans can do. And that's how we close the gap by reducing the manual effort and increasing capacity across the entire fundraising process. The outcome is straightforward, faster processing, better prioritization, and more meaningful engagement. And importantly, this isn't new. We've been building towards this. It's exactly where AI comes in, reducing effort at every stage. And we think about AI in three stages. First, surfacing insights so you know where to focus. This has been embedded in razor's edge for quite some time. Second, accelerating work, be able to create summaries and drafts and next steps. As an example, what Blackbaud AI chat is delivering. And third, executing work, automating repeatable processes. This is how we shift effort away from task and towards impact. The point isn't just to move faster. It's to spend less time on the manual steps and more time on the judgment, relationships, and strategy, the work that really drives mission impact. And before we look at what comes next, I want to acknowledge those of you who've been on this journey with us. Your partnership is what's helped shape where we are today. Our strategy is straightforward. Unified view simplifies how work gets done in bringing workflows together, and AI multiplies the capacity by reducing the manual effort. So your teams can focus on relationships and decisions that drive the outcomes. And importantly, this is a transition, not a disruption. We're continuing to invest in core workflows while progressing towards the unified view. And database view will be supported through late summer of twenty twenty seven, giving you the time to plan and move forward with confidence. And you're not doing this alone. We're providing transparent road maps, ongoing feature delivery, training, partners, and a clear feedback loop. The goal is to reduce risk and give you confidence to move at the right pace for your organization. We're focusing on the core workflows that matter most, from gift processing through data management to engagement and security. And to support this transition, we've built a full set of tools to help you plan and move with confidence. We just recently released the new feature map. You can find a link in the docs to give you visibility gives you visibility into what's available now, what's planned, and how to think about timing. Our inside track and talent hall series give your teams ongoing access to the product team so you can stay current, go deeper on specific areas, and get your questions answered. And Blackbaud University provides training and hands on learning from unified workflows to guided labs so your team can build confidence as they adopt new ways of working. And alongside all of this, the community gives you a way to learn from your peers. How are others approaching the transition and where they're finding success? So let's bring this down to what you can do next. The most important step is to start planning now. Identify a champion for unified view in AI. Someone who can own the transition and help drive adoption across your team. Begin reviewing your current workflows. Where are there opportunities to simplify, reduce manual work, and take advantage of what's already available in web view? From there, build a transition plan that aligns to your organization, your timeline, your priorities, and your readiness. And throughout that process, leverage the resources available, training, guidance, and partner support to move forward with confidence. Because the earlier you start, the smoother the transition and the faster you begin to realize the value. So I know that was quick. I wanted to make sure that we have time, but I wanna thank you for your time. The key takeaway is that we're moving from these fragmented workflows to a unified AI powered system that increases your capacity. It's about simplifying how work gets done and using AI to reduce effort at every stage so your teams can focus on the relationships and decisions that actually drive outcomes. And importantly, this is a transition you can plan for with a clear path forward and a support to move with confidence. It's more than a technology shift. It's an opportunity to fundamentally increase your team's impact. So thank you. And, Mary, maybe if you wanna join me on stage if we received any questions, happy to take a couple of questions. Hi, Tri. We haven't received any questions yet, Alright. but I was wondering if you could go into a little bit more detail about the feature grid that's coming out because that to me is super exciting in that that it demonstrates where, the teams RE NXT teams can start to focus and when they can really dig into it. Absolutely. So, in the doc section, there is a feature grid link. Feel free to go over navigate there and, take a look. It's really allows you to see through the navigation of Razer's Edge NXT what's currently in web view, what's still in database view, and if it's coming or if it's not coming, which is something that you and your team have been requesting for quite some time. This is going to be a dynamic grid. So as we release new things, we will update it. As we make more decisions on things that may not be coming forward, we will continue to provide those details within that feature grid. We're super excited about it. I think during the product update briefings, we had over 1,500 downloads just during, those road map calls. So people are very excited about it, and we're getting a lot of really great feedback. If you're looking through it and you don't see something, there's actually a way to search it. There's also a thumbs up, thumbs down so you can provide feedback and say you think something is missing or you need more clarity. Thanks, Tritt. I appreciate that. And do you Rebecca has a question about, do you have any information on what security measures are in the background? Security measures. Maybe Rebecca might need a little bit more details. If this is related to, AI and our approach to AI, we absolutely are responsible with AI. It's our major focus. And we have a lot of great information, out on our website, that we can probably put a link to here. Yeah. We have a whole section. And if you're just getting started in AI, I was just at the AFP conference and talking to a lot of our customers, and a lot of you are just getting started on writing your AI policies. So if you haven't done that yet, I would absolutely get in front of that. AI is moving so fast, whether you're using it in your daily job to help in drafting emails or helping you search or helping you plan a trip. It's only gonna get more prevalent in our day to day, life. So, yes, I would absolutely take a look at that. The way AI works within Razer's at Gen XT is you have to globally opt in in a Blackbaud at your system admin administrator level, and then you actually have to permission each of your users to have access to it within Razer's Edge NXT. I So hopefully that helps. Take a look at the chat. don't think there don't any other question. You guys are very quiet today. You're very quiet, which, hopefully, that means that we're giving you the information that you need, to plan effectively. You know, our our team, the product team, your customer success team is here to help in any way for you to navigate through the move to the unified view. Allison, I hope you saw that my response that the the document is called razor's edge NXT feature grid. Okay. A couple more questions. I see Lisa has a question on the BSC survey report. Mhmm. Don't have any strategies today, but we can take that away and review. I I was part of that original development of that survey report, so I'm very familiar with the ins and outs and the intricacies of it. And we'll take that as a as an action item to kind of dig deeper to see what we're gonna do in the future for that. Priscilla, the the actual slides will not be emailed out, but the, presentation, recording will be. And if you want more details, you can go out to the product update briefing registration page and get the, companion guide that gives you a lot more detail. We didn't go into a lot of the detail for you today, because we just did the product update briefings last week. So what is the timeline for changes? Can you expand on that, Eric? Changes for moving to the unified view? The the timing right now is late summer of twenty twenty seven. Database view will be, disabled or deprecated. And that does include if you're using Online Express or any of customizations that may have been built as a plug in or maybe a partner plug in like, Omatic or some of the other partner plug ins. All of those partners, we're working closely with to make sure that they're building modern solutions for you to move to as well. Awesome. Well, thank you all for attending today. Really appreciate it. And just stay stay informed. Get your teams. Make sure they're registering for those inside tracks where we're going much deeper into very specific areas of the road map, whether it's gift processing or import and export or AI or reporting. All of those are topics that are coming up in the next couple of months, and they are monthly. So that is a really great way for your teams to engage, as well as in the community. I just. added the survey. So please take a moment to tell us how, how this information that we've shared with you is helpful or not so that we can improve. Thank you, everyone. Really appreciate it, and have a great day.
