Last but not least, use the q and a tab to submit your questions, and we'll do our best to answer them during our presentation and get back to you after. So with that, let's get started. I'll pass it over to Mina now. Thanks, Mike. And hi, everyone. It's great to be here with you all. So Blackboard Integrated Payments is our fully embedded payments platform for the social good sector. Earlier this year, we introduced Blackboard Integrated Payments as our new overall brand for all our payment services, which includes Blackboard Merchant Services or BBMS. And our mission is simple. It's to help you raise more funds, save more time and costs, and sleep better knowing that your payments are secure and compliant. To raise more, we make giving easy. We've intentionally designed user experiences, the latest payment methods, and optimized checkout. To save more, we offer ways to lower your processing costs. And as part of the connected ecosystem of Blackboard, we minimize data entry and streamline workflows for back office teams. And lastly, we know security is nonnegotiable, and we apply a defense in-depth approach to all payments. We have a dedicated global team focused on anti money laundering and transaction monitoring twenty four seven, And they also keep us ahead of the curve with any new compliance needs so that we can keep you informed of the things you need to know well in advance. Overall, we're offering a purpose built set of tools and features designed specifically for our customers and the ways that you need to accept accept payments, whether that's online, in person, for sustained giving, via corporate social responsibility programs, or peer to peer, or more. Our payment services power all of these Blackboard products, and you may use payments across more than one of these solutions. So by using Blackboard integrated payments, you're benefiting from a single platform for payments and all the different fundraising needs. We set up customers across the globe so you can create a merchant services account when you have a legal presence in The US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, and New Zealand. For your supporters, they can pay from anywhere in the world in the currency that you have set up. In addition to global reach, having the right payment methods is what matters the most. It's critical so that you can present the payment options that your donors prefer to use. And today, we're gonna share new payment options that make giving even easier for your supporters. And it doesn't stop with Blackboard products. We've added many new payment integrated applications this year covering text to give, events, school programs, and more. Payments from these non Blackboard applications flow through your existing merchant account keeping everything streamlined. So with that, in overview of Blackboard integrated payments, let's get into the updates and what's coming soon, and we're gonna present this through the lens of the payment life cycle. So from left to left to right, starting with support acquisition, which in this context means all the different channels where you can accept payments in all the different settings you need to support. We'll then dive into the details of payment processing and updates to the checkout experience. We'll cover new items that you need to know for full prevention and compliance. And last but definitely not least, some exciting updates around reporting and the future of reconciliation. So Giving Tuesday is right around corner on December 2. The Blackboard Institute, in partnership with Giving Tuesday, has released a new report that's packed with insights on giving trends and information on each generation's behaviors that can inspire new ideas for Giving Tuesday and even for your end of year campaigns. And there's a lot of useful tips in there. For example, gen z engagement is growing. They're starting to seek out the causes that they wanna support, and they're a very willing and engaged generation. And in fact, donations from Gen z increased in 2024 compared to millennials and boomers where it declined. So what this means for you is thinking more about the payment methods that resonate with younger donors and what you choose to put on your payment forms. I'd like to do a quick poll here. And if you can, let us know if you're using these digital wallets today. Digital wallets are a game changer and an easy way to capture more revenue with younger generations. 40% of all online payments used wallets in 2024, slightly less in Australia, but I expect that to rise steeply when we see 2025 data. It's predicted that 66% or two thirds of the global population will be using wallets by 2029, and that's only a few years away. Wallets are gonna speed up checkout by 50%, and they have higher authorization rates. So if you're not offering wallets yet, scan this QR code on this slide, and it's gonna take you to some instructions that are specific to each Blackboard application to help you get those wallets set up and ready, before giving season wraps up. Okay. So this year, we released a new and improved checkout experience to standard forms and registration forms for RE NXT. This checkout is not only PCIV four compliant, but also includes more wallets out of the box, such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal. And we talked about the importance of these wallets earlier, and the good news is that this new checkout can also support recurring payments with Apple Pay and Google Pay, not just one time single payments. We have continuous optimization built into this new checkout, and it was both designed using best practices we've gathered, and it continues to advance from AB testing so that we can boost conversions to help you raise more. It's built on modern payment architecture that ensures optimal performance for all of our global customer base, eliminating any deployment related downtime for any user across the globe, making sure that your supporters can pay make payments around the clock anytime. I'm also thrilled to be able to share that this new checkout can be used in any custom partner or third party application today via the Skype payments API. Many of you use the API today with the current Blackboard checkout, and now you can upgrade that experience to benefit from all the things that we've just talked about with digital wallets and modern user experience, continuous optimization, donor cover, and more. So if you're interested in learning more and joining the early adopter program, please scan this code or leave your name in the chat, and we'll get in touch. And just in case you're not aware of the Sky payments API and how payments can be extended beyond Blackboard, I'll just spend a minute on explaining what's possible. We know that working with multiple vendors for different fundraising channels often means multiple merchant accounts or extra fees and more reconciliation headaches. So our partnerships help you expand your fundraising channels while keeping payments simple using the merchant account that you already have. So this image on the left shows some examples from mobile or face to face fundraising or telephone campaigns, ticketing, or other event type applications. And when you use these applications, they typically come with a certain specific payment provider, and that can add actually a lot more work than you might initially think. So you have to go and set up a new merchant account. You'll have to go to finance, you know, figure out how to get the data out of the new platform and into your existing workflows, make sure you know how to reconcile the payments and understand the fees, and, you know, do they have all the payment methods that you support, for example. And so all of a sudden, it can add up to, you know, a lot more work. So, instead, by partnering with these other platforms, what we're hoping to do is is help you expand your fundraising channels with the vendors that you want to work with, but help make that process easier by minimizing the friction with payments and extending the use of your merchant account that you already have to be used by other solutions. Just as, an illustration, here's a quick snapshot of the types of use cases where we have partners who are already integrated with Blackboard integrated payments. There are applications here that will help you with telethons, memberships, face to face fundraising, school programs, virtual events, you know, alumni engagement, and the list goes on. This is definitely not exhaustive. The Blackboard marketplace is actually where all of these listings are included and more. So I highly encourage you to go and check it out and see what's available. And as always, if you don't see what you're looking for, just let us know. We're always looking to, increase the number of partners that we have available. So if you're curious about any of the applications you're using today, just let us know. Many customers already do benefit from using integrated partner solutions today, and a shout out here to, offering Melissa at semester at sea who shares that the time savings for her team and just having all the data already consolidated in BBMS and NXT, especially on high volume days, like giving Tuesday was was a real key benefit for them. So first takeaway for you today is to be thinking about how you can save time and money for your organization by using BBMS across, you know, different third party applications, keep your rates and benefits consistent, and keep your back office simple. Alright. So now that we've covered acquisition and channels, let's turn to payment processing with Jake. Thanks, Mina. So I'll take us into the world of payment processing and discuss what is new and upcoming to help you raise more, save more, and sleep better. First off, we previously mentioned that our checkout system relies on AB test best practices, but I wanna focus in a little more on aspects of our ongoing payment optimization with those AB testing experiments and targeted improvements to boost conversion rates. Both are vital to increasing payment acceptance and providing a better experience for supporters. To begin with, AB testing serves as a invaluable method for discover discovering which payment process works best. By conducting controlled comparisons between different versions of payment pages and flows, we identify what delivers stronger performance through experimenting with various layouts, messages, and payment options, and uncover what appeals most to a supporter. This approach equips us with solid data, guiding our decisions, and yielding measurable outcomes. In addition to AB testing, we act we actively pursue comprehensive enhancements and conversion rates by focusing on specific improvements in the payment journey. For example, we have worked to adjust the look and feel of checkout pages to ensure they are accessible and easy to use, which helps boost conversion rates. We also simplify the checkout process by minimizing required steps, thereby decreasing abandonment rates and increasing overall support satisfaction. Ultimately, our ongoing strategies, including both AB testing and focused conversion efforts, play a crucial role in maximizing payments and improving user experiences. Staying proactive and adjusting based on data ensures that our payment systems are remain streamlined and effective. Next up, super excited to share that Blackbaud integrated payments is adding support for direct debit in both The UK and Australia starting early next year. We know this is a critical payment method for your sustaining gift programs in both of these markets and that the majority of donors, especially in The UK, prefer using direct debit when signing up for a new regular gift. Today, if you're processing direct debit, you are most likely transmitting files manually to your banks each month, which requires approvals, manual downloading of the payment results, and coordinating with finance teams. This is the process we are aiming to eliminate for your teams to save you both time and streamlining your payments. Starting with online giving, you'll be able to start accepting online donations with direct debits through your standard and optimized donation forms. Those not using online giving, they'll also be making this available within checkout via the Sky payments API, so it can be built into other applications. We have an we have automated a lot of the typical manual tasks like managing mandates. So Blackbaud integrated payments will actually send those out for any new or updated gifts. In addition, you'll be able to prevent a loss of revenue when accounts are closed or changed by banks because we'll have the ability to notify you when these events occur. So you can be proactive about following up on sustaining gifts before they fail on your regular cycle. There will be a lot more information on this as we get closer to a release date in the first quarter of next year, so stay tuned for more. Next up, you can't talk about payment processing without talking about fees. So I wanna remind you all of what we offer to help you reduce your costs and put more back into your missions with Lifeline Merchant Services. Our two fee offset options are complete cover and donor cover. Both models give you a way to significantly re significantly reduce processing costs, and both models give donors an option for how they can help your organization. By providing both complete cover and donor cover, you now have options on leveraging whichever model is right for you on a given donation form. You have the flexibility to use both as these features are configured per donation or registration form so you can see which works best for you and your supporters. Across Blackbaud, we've been able to redirect thousands of dollars back to our customers in the form of fee savings. These are powerful tools that you can start using to help you grow your revenue by saving costs. Since 2024, we have saved customers $23,000,000 in processing fees. And to that end, I'd like to share a quote from Joanna Young at the Manchester University in Indiana, who has been using complete cover since our early adopter program. They've been able to use these additional funds on some really impactful programs, including student food pantries to address food insecurity among college students. We love hearing about these real life examples, so thank you for the feedback, Joanna. And now taking the donor cover a step forward, we're adding the ability where you can customize your donor cover ask amounts to cover more than the processing fees where your organization keeps the extra funds. Until now, donors could cover processing fees, but coming soon, organizations can customize this ask amount to go beyond fees to help cover other operational costs. This flexibility lets you align fee coverage with your fundraising strategy and give donors a clear, impactful way to contribute more to your mission. Alright. Next up, I'll take us through everyone's favorite topic, fraud prevention and compliance. First off, we at Blackbaud aren't the only ones using AI to be more efficient. Fraudsters are constantly adapting using automation and AI to bypass static defenses. Modern payment fraud is a moving target requiring dynamic real time protection strategies. Traditional tools like address verification settings and CVV blocks are once the backbone of fraud prevention. However, these static controls are increasingly ineffective against sophisticated attacks as fraudsters can now source stolen cards with valid AVS and CVV data, rendering these checks less reliable. Blackbaud's fraud prevention approach combines multiple AI driven and rule based controls, including automated bot detection, IP threat assessments, and AI powered risk scoring on every online transaction. Our bot detection solution, Recapture, is deployed to detect and block automated bot attacks such as card testing. By analyzing user behavior and transaction signals, Recapture can distinguish between legitimate users and bots, which reduces frictions friction for real donors while stopping fraudsters in their tracks. Automated CAPTCHA is triggered based on risk signals and ongoing discovery is underway to further optimize its effectiveness. Blackbaud's prod stack also includes IP IP address blocking, velocity checks, and geolocation verification to identify and block suspicious activity from known bad IPs or high risk regions. These controls help prevent attacks from proxies, VPNs, and botnets, which are common tactics in prod modern fraud attempts. And finally, Blackbaud uses AI powered dynamic risk scoring to deliver real time network based risk profiles using over 80 data attributes, including IP reputation, device fingerprinting, and velocity analysis. Dynamic risk scoring evaluates each transaction's risk profile considering factors like the velocity, email reputation, and card demographics. This enables adaptive blocking logic that evolves with emerging threads. This layered defense ensures that even if one control is bypassed, others remain active to protect the transaction ecosystem and allow you to sleep better at night. And And so while in the area of fraud and compliance, I did wanna spend some time on our platform level optimizations, which are critical for improving payment acceptance rates or authorization rates and are all free to use. These range from balancing fraud settings across risk and revenue using AI driven adaptive acceptance, utilizing secure network tokens, and our credit card updater. So let's dive into what these are. The first example of how we boost acceptance rates involves refining how payment requests are transmitted across card networks and implementing real time retries based on AI and machine learning. This can include adjusting the timing or elements of the message format used to send payment requests resulting in higher acceptance rates. Next, we can increase off rates by using network tokens. These tokens are secure and unique to the card network and replace raw card numbers resulting in more successful transactions. We request we we request the creation of these tokens on your behalf. We see an increasing number of payments using network tokens behind the scenes. When combined with Blackbaud's first class recurring engine, this leads to dramatically improved authorization rates. Speaking of recurring, you've probably seen our credit card updater reports in the BBMS web portal where we ensure that card tokens stored for recurring gifts, the latest and greatest processing information so we can ensure you raise more. And so then in addition to updating store cards, we also update cards in real time at the point of sale if a supporter is using old card data to complete a transaction. And finally, we continuously experiment with the best settings for fraud settings based on our fraud learnings discussed previously. We analyze overall effectiveness of our fraud suite against the changing threats. We're able to turn dials to ensure we are not blocking too many good transactions alongside alongside some potentially fraudulent ones. Some areas this includes is around three d s or MFA required transactions, CBC code blocking, and address verification settings. We are sure to balance our defense in-depth approach to lean on the most performative fraud measures where you remain protected, but continue to raise the money you need for your mission. Overall, these platform level optimizations are essential for maximizing payment acceptance rates and enhancing the supporter experience. So by staying vigilant and making data driven adjustments, we ensure that our payment processes are both secure and efficient as possible. And finally, as I wrap up this section, we wanna bring your attention to some near term compliance requirements. As Blackbaud is a reporting entity under the Federal Bank Secrecy Act in The United States, Blackbaud audits and reviews Blackbaud merchant service accounts to ensure compliance with these regulations. Organizations must annually review and confirm signatory information within the with within financial accounts. Help you avoid interruption in payment processing, once a year, the BBMS web portal home page now displays an alert that asks you to confirm if your signatory information is still correct or to make any necessary updates. Customers will see these alerts starting at 2026. Alright. And with that, I'll kick it over to Nina. Thank you, Jake. Now you've seen all the, exciting changes that came to, fraud prevention and compliance. Now let's take a look at, reconciliation and reporting. Alright. Here we go. So now we're gonna shift our focus to the critical part of the payment life cycle, which is reconciliation and reporting. And this is where everything comes together. You know, making sure the the transactions, the gifts, and the financial records align seamlessly. Our goal here is simple. We wanted to give you tools that simplify workflows and save time. We have added several enhancements in Blackboard integrated payments to make reconciliation easier, and we will also look at what we have planned that are you know, that's coming soon. So whether you're exporting transaction list or reviewing disbursements or transactions, these updates already are, designed to reduce manual effort and improve, accuracy. But before we dive into the details, let's start with something that makes your everyday experience better, and that is easy portal navigation. We have made, some changes to the navigation and home page in portal, So there is no more extra clicks and digging that you will need to do, through different menus to get to what you want. This means you can jump straight into what matters most without wasting time. Let me show you how what it looks like today in portal. Alright. Here's the updated home page. Notice that the navigation menu is on the left. So it's consistent with, other Blackboard application like Razer's Edge MXD. It's easier so now for you to find what you need when you switch between products. In the center, you will have the disbursement schedule clearly displayed. And on the right, we have the new disbursement, recent disbursement, which is a quick access to your recent disbursement, which will display three latest disbursements. This is all about, reducing clicks and giving you instant visibility into the data you care about. These changes might seem small, but they do add up to a smoother, faster experience every day. Now that the navigation is simple, let's look at the specific tools and enhancement that makes reconciliation easy. Alright. Let's start with the big picture. For those using Blackboard, CRM, we have the built in reconciliation tool inside the app in CRM. But for Raices Edge NXT and Blackboard integrated payment users, we know and we have heard from many of you that reconciliation involves a lot of manual steps and lot of, like, manual matching, which takes up time, that you would rather spend elsewhere. So we wanted to give you tools that simplify the process and save time. So the goal here again was simple. Make reconciliation easier and faster across Raiser's Edge NXT and Blackboard integrated payments. Let's dive into what we have done. First off, Blackboard integrated payments. We have added a small but mighty enhancement to the disbursement report. That is view as transaction list link. So now with one click, you can jump straight to a list of all transactions in that disbursement. So no more digging and filtering to find those transactions. This is the first step towards making, reconciliation less of a chore. Let's see what happens when you click on that link. So you will land on the transaction list, which is filtered through the transactions in that disbursement. Here, you can review all transactions in your disbursement. You can add or remove columns and customize it, to what your finance team needs. And make sure, everything adds up or lines up with the razor's edge NXT gives. One key column to notice here is the payment transaction ID or the transaction ID here. Why is this important? Hand tight. You will see how this this column becomes the magic connector. But before we get to that magic, you can export this entire transaction list that you have filtered and added columns to to excel with one click. So all the details your finance team needs will be right there. So no copy and paste gymnastics that you will need to do. This means you are saving time. But if you are wondering how do I connect these transactions to the gifts from RE NXT, here's where that, magic happens. Remember that payment transaction ID that we talked about? That ID is your common thread. Think of it like a puzzle piece that connects it together. The payment transaction ID is on the transaction record in Blackboard integrated payment. And also, it's on the gift record in ResurgentEdge NXT. Now we have connected this dot and added something new and amazing in, ResurgentEdge NXT that will help with reconciliation. Alright? So it's super exciting, but the slide there we go. We we've added this payment transaction ID to Raizer's Edge, NXT WebView query. So you can create a query with the ID plus all the gift details, like, you need, like, the fund, campaign, donor information, maybe gift type, whatever you need, and export it to Excel. Combine that with the Blackboard integrated payment export that you did from the disbursement of from the transaction let list, and let Excel do the matchmaking. So no more endless hunting and matching, just quick accurate reconciliation, which saves you and your finance team time. So we saw what we have done, but we have more coming around the reconciliation soon. In 2026, you will see some more tools in Blackboard integrated payments that will make reconciliation even easier. First, the export from disbursement reports will include Raiser's Edge, NXT gift information, like the fund and gift IDs. So you will have all the details you need right at your fingertips. With this, you will also be able to quickly review any missing, gift IDs without their digging through multiple screens and going from product to product. Soon, you can also use power automate connectors to integrate reconciliation right into your workflows. And for those who want flexibility, you will be able to use the disbursement and transaction endpoints, with Sky API to customize reports for your financial systems. All of these enhancements are designed to save you time and make, reconciliation smoother and smarter. Alright. So so far we talked a lot about reconciliation. But what if we could make finding transaction even faster without clicking through multiple menus, multiple screens, or products? That's where our next enhancement comes in. This is powered by AI. As you are aware, Blackboard, is expanding, AI capabilities in Blackboard integrated payments and making it simple for users to engage directly with Blackboard AI. Some of you may have already noticed a new sparkle in the right, corner of the BBMAs portal that launches the new Blackboard AI chat. This feature is in the process of being rolled out to all customers. So if you've not seen it yet, keep an eye out. And here is what it does. The first productivity boost is generating transaction list. Instead of manually selecting filters, like you do today, you can simply ask the chat to create the list for you. Just tell, tell AI chat what you need and the time frame. For example, you could say, show me transactions from last week, Or you could say, run a report, for all of the transactions in October showing fees. The AI chat will generate a clickable list that you can edit or save like you do today. But there are no extra steps involved, you know, in creating that list. And if you have seen this feature already, please use the thumbs up or down icons in the chat to share feedback. This helps, us refine, and in and improve the tool for you. So we saw how Blackboard AI chat can help you quickly generate list with simple prop, But we don't want to stop there. What if you could go beyond list and instantly access the exact details you need without digging? That's what the next enhancement in 2026 is all about. With Blackboard AI powered search, we are making it easier than ever to get the information you need. Just ask the question and get the transaction or gift info instantly. Using, natural language, you can chat with Blackboard AI, and get the information that you are looking for. Instead of navigating through the, menus, just ask question like, if you want to know what's the status of this transaction ID, show me the gift, details for this payment, or, show the transaction ID for this gift. This means you can connect the dots without switching systems for a true connected system experience. Alright. We've talked a lot about, how AI can make you your work faster and easier. But with great power comes great responsibility. So let's take a moment to talk about how Blackboard approaches AI responsibly. At Blackboard, we know trust is everything. That's why our AI is built on clear principles to keep your data safe and experience positive. First, we design the AI experience carefully so that no risk that the responses are guided by what you type, giving you relevant and helpful answers. And when you interact with AI, you will only see the information you are authorized to access. So your data stays private. Also, we use your feedback like thumbs up, or down and reworded questions to improve the experience over time. Plus, we follow strict privacy laws like GDPR and rollout features thoughtfully across different regions. Now just as important is what we don't do. The AI does not train or change itself using your organization's data. It does not learn or update from your data, and it never shares your data with other customers or out outside systems. So you get the convenience and power of AI without compromising, privacy or control. Alright. We have covered a lot so far, but let's take a step back and look at a recap of everything that's already available for you today in Blackbaud, integrated payments. There's a lot that's designed, to help you raise more, save more, and sleep better. For example, under supporter acquisition, we have the new checkout, for online giving and this is a Gen XT. And then we have underpayment processing. But in order to boost experience, we have the checkout optimizations. And for, fraud prevention and compliance, we have for better, security, we have the new AI powered protection. And under disbursement and reporting, we have the reconciliation tools that saves you time and, navigation as well, which will help you find what you need, save time on financial workflows. All of these enhancements are available now. And if you have not explored any of them yet, this is a great time to start. Alright. Here's a quick recap of what's coming next. Again, for the supported acquisition, we have the new checkout for the Sky payments API. Under payment processing, we have, different payment methods like UK and Australian Direct Debit. These options make the donors, easier for the donors to give in the way that works best for them. For fraud prevention and compliance, we are introducing signatory authority confirmation. It's another layer of security and trust. And under disbursement and reporting, two big things we talked about, the Blackboard AI chat chat and simplified reconciliation. These will make finding data, easier and faster. So whether you're focused on raising more, saving more, or just making life easier for your team, these upcoming enhancements are designed to help you do all the three. Okay. So we have looked at what's available, what's coming soon, and all the enhancements. But before we wrap up, let's talk about what you can do today to make most of these enhancements. These are some practical steps you can take back to your team right away. First, digital wallets are essential for a smooth checkout experience, and we know donors love them. Make sure Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo are enabled on your pages for secure trusted transactions. Next, think about simplifying payment processing. With Blackboard integrated payments, you can optimize authorization rate and strengthen sustained giving. Check out our, Blackboard marketplace or Sky payments API for payment processing and also to streamline your back office. Another big one, save on processing fee with complete cover and donor cover at checkout. These apply to one time and recurring gifts. So the savings really do add up. And finally, keep an eye out for Blackboard AI chat. It's going to make creating less and pulling insights faster and easier. All these are all the great ways, to improve efficiency and donor experience. So start implementing them today. And one last thing, we would love for you to join our discovery sessions. These sessions are the best ways for us to learn directly from you, and make sure we are building solutions that truly meet your needs. Your feedback is invaluable. And, these sessions, also give you an early insight into upcoming features and a chance to participate in our early adopter program. There are a few areas that we are focusing on like, getting transaction data as gifts into versus the Genesee WebView, which will help with the reconciliation, direct debit for, Australia, direct debit for UK. Those are some of the the ones that we are focusing on right now. If you are interested in either discovery or early adapter program, please sign up. It's a great way to influence what's next and stay ahead. Now I will hand this over back to Mike. He will go over some tools that we have to learn about the new features and workflows in Blackbaud integrated payments. Alright. Thanks, Fournema. Next up, we have our Blackbaud University curriculum.
