And we are here for the connections you forge, for the outcomes you achieve, and for the dreams you bring to life for you and the world you're changing. Debriefing for Impact Edge. I am so thrilled that you're able to join us whether it's the morning, the afternoon, where you're joining us from. Welcome. Welcome. And if we haven't had the chance to meet yet, my name is Kayla Barnes. I'm a product marketing manager with YourCause. I actually am hitting my eight year anniversary today on May 8, so fun to be joining you all this morning. And in addition to ImpactEdge, I get to work on the YourCause CSR Connect and Grants Connect solutions. I'm Kevin Kirchner. Good to be with you today. I'm a product manager over ImpactEdge, and I've been at Blackbaud just over two years. Happy anniversary, Kayla. My name is Jewell Willett. I'm senior manager of customer success enablement. My pronouns are she, her, hers, and I have had the pleasure of working with YourCause Solutions for about twelve years now, helping to bolster the customer success of, both our team and the the companies that use our platform. Thanks so much for those introductions. And just a quick look at today's agenda. So we will start with a quick introduction to ImpactEdge just in case you aren't familiar with the solution and how that fits into our overall corporate impact solution set. Then we'll spend the majority of our time today on our road map conversation. So we'll take a deep dive into features that have been recently released, are coming up soon, and are kind of next up in our longer term horizon. We'll also spend some time with Jewell to to go through some customer callouts, some reminders and resources, and just some additional things to help empower your journey with Impact Edge. A couple of quick webinar housekeeping notes for today's platform that we're using. Audio is being broadcast through your speakers, so hopefully you can hear me. And if you are having any technical difficulties, we suggest doing a quick refresh. It's gonna be the quickest way to remedy that. And if any issues persist, we suggest maybe considering switching your browser. Sometimes Chrome works best over, Edge or Safari. A couple of quick notes to the right hand side of your screen. You will see a chat section where we'll put any public messages should should we need to. The doc section, I wanna point out because there is a lot of great links in there, that we'll reference throughout today, including the companion guide. This is a great two page sheet that gives, an overview of the solutions that we'll talk about today, so kind of a good cheat sheet to reference in the future. And then we also have our q and a. We ask and welcome any of your questions throughout today's presentation, but we just ask that you give us a little bit of context when you put a question in there. So instead of just saying when will this be released, just give us a little context to exactly which feature you're talking about as we move through today's presentation. Because this is one of our product update briefings, I do need to read the safe harbor statement in its entirety. This presentation contains forward looking statements that involve inherent risks, uncertainties, and assumptions. It outlines Blackbaud's current plans and general product direction as of the date this presentation was created. Functionality described in this presentation that is not currently available is subject to change at any time without notice at Blackbaud's sole discretion. It does not represent a commitment to develop or release specific features within the time frame discussed according to presented design or at all. Please make any purchase decisions based on features and functionality that are currently available. Before we dive into the agenda, I wanna take a moment to recap some exciting announcements that have been made, this year kinda in the specific context of our YourCause corporate impact solution set. So last month, we had the chance to convene over 250 CSR professionals in Dallas for North American Corporate Social Impact Summit. It was an energizing few days of connection and inspiration and insights, and we had the chance to talk about innovation, on the main stage across our solutions, including our innovations in Impact Edge. And next month, we're hosting a similar event in London with our European corporate impact summit on June 26. So in the docs section on the right hand side of the screen, you can find a few links, including a registration link for our London event, as well as a link to that press release I mentioned kind of recapping some of those innovations, not only across Impact Edge, but across our YourCause solutions as well. We've had a couple of other fun announcements on the YourCause side, including a new global partner expanding our capabilities in Mexico with Nacional Monte de Piedad. And we announced our integration with True Impact at the beginning of this year, which we'll talk about more in-depth later on in this presentation as well since that's an integration into Impact Edge. And then I do wanna call out that coming soon, the thirteenth edition of our CSR industry review will hopefully be released at the end of this month or early June. We're talking about data and reporting today, so I have to give a spotlight to our very own data reporting review. And this is really the biggest set of user data available in the market. So, very excited for this to come out on its thirteenth edition this year, and you'll be able to uncover trends by regions, industries, programmatic elements, and so much more. So keep an eye out for that coming soon. And just in case you aren't familiar with the bigger picture, ImpactEdge is part of our corporate impact solution set. And so with our your cost solutions, CSR Connect and Grants Connect, we help power, corporate impact programs across a wide variety of ways. CSR Connect is really our employee engagement solution, helping power employee giving, volunteering, and even employee resource groups. And then Grants Connect is, as you guessed it, our our grants management system. And embedded throughout both of these systems is a plethora of different reporting tools, but layered on top of that is where Impact Edge comes into the mix. So like I mentioned, Impact Edge fits within our established ecosystem of reporting and was strategically developed to support the need for fast intelligent way to gather, all the great data in each reporting system at once and give you that chance to review that data at a high level with both visualization and detail. And the way ImpactEdge works is it takes the data from your Blackbaud solutions and brings it into a unified structure, allowing you to see the impact across your programs. And it was originally built with the YourCause customer base in mind. Right? So with CSR Connect and Grants Connect being the first solutions, brought into Impact Edge. Impact Edge is responsive to the products that you own. So if you only owned Grants Connect, for example, you wouldn't see the given volunteer dashboards. And if you only ran volunteer programs, you wouldn't see the grants or employee giving dashboards. The data from our solutions populates into the complimentary impact dashboard portion of Impact Edge, which we are so excited to say has been enabled for all CSR Connect and Grants Connect customers through the end of last year. These dashboards provide robust visualizations and numerous ways to dig into your data quickly and uncover trends in your programs. In addition to the impact dashboards, customers have the opportunity to add Blackbaud Copilot to their impact edge environment, which is our purpose built generative AI solution for CSR pros, the first and only of its kind available in the market. So we will dive both into the impact dashboard and Blackbaud Copilot portions of Impact Edge today throughout our presentation. And before we dive into the road map portion, I wanna just ground us on the innovation themes that we use to guide development in Impact Edge. Our vision with Impact Edge is really to unlock your reporting potential, and we're focused on doing that with three point strategy. So first, we're really focused on unifying that data in one place. So creating synergies across all of your CSR and grant making efforts. And then we're looking to create efficiencies. So helping you unify that data and then understand that data by gleaning insights and uncovering trends and bringing generative AI capabilities to your fingertips. And, ultimately, we want to empower your storytelling. So we wanna give you the tools that help you tell the story of impact you're making across the world, across your your programs. And as we go throughout today's session, we'll kind of relate our recent upcoming and next step vision, to these three key strategic themes. And as always, we will present our road map to you today through three time horizons. So first, we'll start with features that have been, recently released and are available now. Jewell and team do such a great job of showcasing recent releases in the monthly client admin workshop. So if you're not a part of those, I highly suggest it. And so, hopefully, you've heard about some of these features already. But then we'll talk about what's coming up soon. So these are enhancements that in our release preview we're currently working on and have a high degree of confidence of releasing in the next six months. And then finally, we'll round out with a little bit of what's next for Impact Edge and share some of the work we have planned for the longer term. So let's review what's been released in the last several months that is available today in the product. In a moment, Jewell is gonna take us through a journey on Blackbaud Copilot, which is that generative AI tool built for CSR pros that I mentioned earlier. And then we'll dive into some updates on our impact dashboards, including trends data that's been added. I think this is my personal favorite, so I'm really excited to showcase that with Kevin. Giving campaigns are now available. Volunteer campaign dashboards are coming soon, and we have some new financial metrics for grants budgets and some exciting global enhancements. So with that, I am going to pass it off to Jewell. Thank you, Kayla. Blackbaud Copilot empowers you to go further with your data. This AI chapter turns your CSR data into compelling narratives quickly. You can ask natural language questions of Copilot and get specific answers grounded in your own data. This saves you time by being able to answer questions from your stakeholders in seconds, not hours, and highlighting data for you to continue researching in order to identify trends and opportunities for your programs. Having a conversation with Copilot will accelerate your ability to create content about your CSR and grant programs, including composing communications and presentation ideas. Responses include cited sources and even suggestions for follow-up questions. Response, data is, securely partitioned and protected with our data architecture and infrastructure, ensuring privacy for your program data and prompts. And the best part is Blackbaud Copilot is now available for all customers to invest in, and we encourage you to explore this add on for all the great benefits that it does have to offer your work. So how did we get the first social impact generative AI product to you so quickly? Well, it's really easy. Part I'm very proud of is that we engaged our customers during the entire process. The journey began at the end of twenty twenty three as soon as we announced our plans. We recruited customers to give feedback and use the early iterations of both products to ensure our Impact Edge dashboards and Blackbaud Copilot would understand a social impact professional's needs and mindset. Throughout 2024, we worked to release Impact Edge dashboards as the foundational element to the data you get to explore throughout Blackbaud Copilot. At the same time, customers that supported our dashboard early adopter program, also known as an EAP, they were also engaged with this, Copilot EAP, in parallel. So we were able to receive connected feedback, and engagement that way. So after our free dashboards were released for all customers in December of twenty twenty four, we circled right back and expanded our EAP program for Copilot. With the dashboards now adopted by over 96% of our active customers, we have spent q one head down observing detailed quality control testing. The final phase of EAP and customer engagement allowed us to refine the product's first iteration, and we are now very proud to say that it is in general availability. So we do want to highlight the early adopter program for Impact Edge dashboards and Blackbaud Copilot because this process, it was critical to the success of our development, and we don't plan on stopping our EAP experience anytime soon. It means a lot to us that customers, spend time and and take extra time in their day to engage in giving us early feedback and usage while we innovate for the entire global good network. So during EAPs, customers explore the products and engage directly with our product management team. This has created an honest environment which has led to an authentic product experience. Those engaged with EAP are also now helping us drive activity in our community as, as they act as resources and spark discussions. Their activity has inspired us to create bite sized trainings through Blackbaud University to help future copilot users better understand how to dialogue with generative AI product. We're also trying out a new product office hours to translate, questions live in real time from our early adopters to our product managers through, through weekly conversations. Finally, our EAP participants really laid the foundation for future enhancements, to come by generating initial ideas during their adoption experience. So, you know, I just really do wanna take a moment to say how nice and exciting it's been. Obviously, customer success, we have the pleasure of advocating for our customers, as we sit around tables internally. But with this EAP experience, it was really a breakthrough moment because we got to sit back and watch our customers drive that conversation and have a seat at the table, as we develop this product, for them. Kayla, I think it is just about the right time, for you to share Copilot and live action. Let's take a quick look at some of the capabilities from Blackbaud Copilot. As you can see, Copilot's returned a response for me to take a look at. And I think I wanna dive in a little bit further. So let me ask how many volunteer hours the top three departments did. Now let's let me know what the top three employee departments are for total volunteer hours across our program. Now I wanna ask it to go a little bit further and summarize the total volunteer hours by cause area. Now I can see the total volunteer hours broken down by cause areas for the year. This is just a couple of quick examples of how Copilot can help you dive into your employee volunteering data. Love it. Clearly, there is a lot of buzz about this product, and it's obviously for a good reason. For current YourCause customers, please contact your CSM today to get further introduced to the product and its pricing structure. If you are not currently using our platforms but interested in learning more, please connect with us through the Impact Edge request a demo link, which is posted in the documents tab Kayla mentioned for this webinar. It does give me great pleasure to hand the mic over to Kevin who is going to take you through, both of the products that we're talking about today in more depth. Alright. Thank you, Jewell. We're gonna dive in, take a close look at some of our recent releases and updates. But first, I wanna focus on a couple key features. Just to and we mentioned this before, but just to kinda remind everyone, our impact dashboards are complimentary for our customers who'd leverage one of our your cause solutions. And not only are they free, but you'll be able to add an unlimited amount of users to Impact Edge. This helps disseminate your data to more stakeholders and get that information out as you need it. For customers who purchase Blackbaud Copilot, you'll be able, to the generative AI portion of Impact Edge, as we mentioned, you'll be able to set permissions and control who has access to just the dashboards versus who has access to the dashboards and Copilot. Let's go ahead and take a look at a few other key elements of Impact Edge. So we recognize that communicating and sharing your critical impact data is a key need. Impact Edge helps you do this in many ways, including there's download buttons for both the entire report and for individual data visualizations. In addition, you can share the URL of your report with others who have Impact Edge so they so they can review exactly what you're seeing and the filters that you're seeing. There's also ability to export data tables and raw data. So you can either further analysis or put that into other tools. Let's take a look at some new features, including trends, which Kayla mentioned earlier. Alright. Trends is one of our newest additions to Impact Edge and is really designed to help you analyze your program so you can take action and make informed decisions. So trends really helps you uncover valuable insights into your program changes over time across multiple dimensions. We offer trends for both volunteering and giving and also have combined engagement metrics. Let's show some examples from the trends dashboard here. So for both giving and volunteering, each dashboard has four critical headline metrics that compare your current year to date with last year. As you can see here in this example, we can quickly see that giving engagement is up slightly on the top there, but total donations and donor count are down. This really helps give you the context of metrics in a quick and easy visual of what's happening in your program compared to the previous year. An additional data visualization enable you to delve deeper into the reasons behind the trends, showing you what is happening by location. So the map here illustrates which regions, in this case, the states, are experiencing increases in engagement or donations, whichever metric you've chosen, by the blue, shading, or decreases in rates or donations compared which is a red, shading compared to the previous time last year. This can really help you target your programming or your outreach. Similar data tables and dot plots further help you understand how trends in your, in your metrics vary by region. And, you know, as Kevin, is sharing this information about the new trends dashboard, it really does remind me about how, much it excites me. It really gives our customers the ability to use the power of data to plan proactively and take a look at retroactive data points, in tandem as well. So, you know, as we approach summer, I believe many companies are likely dusting off the plans of their volunteer campaigns and probably asking themselves, how do I want to update various aspects like communication focus, community partnership opportunities, cause area focuses, and more? So imagine now before you head into your planning and your prep meetings, pulling this trends dashboard for the dates of your volunteer campaign last year. See what types of volunteering drove the most participation or maybe the least. Filter by different viewpoints, to cater to the different conversations that you might be having within the meeting. You know, Kevin shared by, as he shared right here on the screen. Think about filtering for department and then by location, and you can understand location trends for those employees instantly. So you could actually take these visuals and send them out to department leaders with your 2025 plans and then further generate excitement and help those leaders to promote realistic goals, that are truly reflective of their employees' likes, interests, and commitments as seen over time. So we hope that, you know, you can envision how you have the ability to pull this aggregated data in seconds without needing to manually create the views or honestly even think the views up yourself. We do encourage, that you give this a try before you head into your next team meeting and see how it improves your decision making power and your influence. So with that mindset, Kevin, I'll I'll go ahead and let you wrapped up wrap up the rest of the the great highlights on trends. Alright. Thank you, Jewell. That's great, great additions and great insights. So in addition to that location, changes by location, you can also in analyze, as Jewell mentioned, trends by any attribute of the employee file, the HR file, such as employee department, business unit, and employee type, as you see here on this chart, which, breaks it down. So in this example, you see content marketing department has a huge drop in engagement, while the compliance and risk management have increased your engagement. Additionally, a robust time series graph allows you to view all of your key metrics over time, whether by year, quarter, or a month. Let's wrap up the trends the new trends feature, which is our trends by charity and trends by cause area. This report is excellent for identifying which charities or cause areas are trending up or down with your employees compared to the previous year. You can use this to monitor the effects of your own programs and campaigns for specific charities or cause areas. Or, additionally, it can just help you understand organic employee engagement and check alignment with your company's core pillars core pillars and values. Alright. Let's move on and take a look at another new feature, which is our campaigns insight. Campaigns insight provides granular information you need to effectively monitor specific work workplace giving campaigns. So you can track the performance of your campaigns over various time windows, whether it's daily, weekly, monthly, or annually. This allows you to see engagement and contributions evolve throughout the campaign period. You can also evaluate and compare the performance of different campaigns to understand which strategy strategies are most effective. This comparison helps you identify successful elements that can be replicated in future campaigns and areas that may need, improvement. I I love the culture that a workplace giving campaign creates, and I have seen so many customers drive great participation by rallying their employees during a focused amount of time. But we are often asked, how can I predict my recurring payroll for next year before people actually come in and hit the renew button or maybe have the system automatically roll their pledges over into the next year? This is a really important question to be able to answer quickly, and you can do that now with this dashboard. By simply changing the dates to last year, selecting your campaign name, you're going to be able to see in seconds how many recurring payroll pledges, took place. And then now you have that best case scenario for ongoing recurring deductions after this campaign wraps up, and you also have a data point that you can use to set a realistic goal for the new participation that you're hoping to drive. So you can do both things in one place very quickly. Thank you, Jewell. A few a few more features, recent features to discuss here. One is budgets in our new grants module. So we know we know understanding your total spend is crucial for effective planning and allocation. So our new budgets report includes breakdown by each program, its funding sources, payments made, and remaining budget available for each program and source. So a really, really helpful tool in the grants module. And then finally, for new features, we've been expanding impact edge to Canada, The UK, and additional countries, and we've recently added, capabilities for many, many international currencies to the dashboard. So now, I'm gonna turn it back to to Kayla. Thanks so much, Kevin and Jewell. And I don't know if I'm allowed to pick favorites, but I really do love the trends dashboards. Highly encourage you all to spend some time in there. I'm a visual learner, visual person, and there's just so many fun filters and things to explore. So now that we've kind of wrapped up a little bit of our available today functionality, we're gonna start looking into the future, and going through our release preview. So like I mentioned earlier, these are items that we, have a high degree of confidence in implementing in the next several months. So excited to get these features into your hands very soon. So let's start with just kind of a little bit of an overview of some of the things that we'll be talking about today. So when we look at unifying your data, we are bringing even more data into Impact Edge, in including introducing Blackbaud grant making, client data as well as CSR Connect rewards, incentives, and groups data. We're also enabling you to manage custom program goals and track progress towards those goals. And I'm really excited to share that we'll have some additional benchmarking data coming into the system that we'll talk about here in just a moment. So in q one, we did announce our partnership with True Impact, and I mentioned that that press release is linked in the doc section. But I just wanna spend a couple of minutes talking about True Impact, and kind of the why behind this partnership. So with True Impact, we're bringing real impact measurement frameworks into Impact Edge. This partnership is going to enable us to empower you with expanded capabilities on quantifying the impact of your CSR efforts and really turning outcomes and outputs, into real social impact kind of delivery. So now through the the third quarter of this year, we're really deep in discovery and planning processes and building out this integration alongside the True Impact team. And you can expect it towards the end of this year into the beginning of twenty twenty six, for the integration to become available. And like I mentioned, I just wanna give you a little bit of the why behind True Impact just in case you aren't familiar with them. True Impact is a leader in the impact data and measurement space, and our partnership with them brings a a first of its kind data integration into Impact Edge. So some of the things that you can expect with this integration are real time impact insights. You'll be able to visualize the actual results of donation, grants, and volunteerism, and you'll also be able to leverage predictive impact forecasting. So you'll be able to plan smarter investments by projecting social outcomes. You'll also be able to leverage integrated storytelling tools and transform that data into compelling narratives by connecting your results to your company's unique goals, the sustainable development goals, cause areas, or geographies. And I also wanna announce that we are excited to welcome another member to the Impact Edge family, Blackbaud Grantmaking. So coming soon, our Blackbaud grant making customers will have access to their own data in Impact Edge, and we're gonna start by rolling this out gradually starting with the Blackbaud grant making customers that are also your cause CSR Connect customers, and then we'll expand to the rest of the Blackbaud grant making user base. So we're really excited to hear the feedback from these customers and how ImpactEdge can help them exceed their reporting and impact storytelling needs. So now I'm gonna turn it over to Kevin, to run us through the rest of the coming soon features. Alright. So for over ten years, YourCause has provided the market's most comprehensive CSR benchmarking report informed by real data from real programs. So and later this year, we will integrate our industry insights directly into Impact Edge with our new bench make benchmarking dashboards for giving and volunteering. These dashboards will enable you to compare key metrics such as engagement rate, median donation, median donation amounts across broader industry, benchmarks. You can apply filters for industry and company size to compare your program with similar companies. And then and you can assess your program's effectiveness and help identify gaps. This is also gonna help you better understand internal, versus external patterns in giving and volunteering trends. So look out for this really exciting feature coming this year. Another really exciting addition will be our program goals and KPI tracking feature, which will allow you to customize a dashboard to focus on your most critical metrics and KPIs. You can align these metrics with your program goals, your pillars, or simply lay label them for monitoring purposes. Additionally, you can refine each of these metrics to specific locations or specific attributes on the employee file or cause areas for detailed analysis. And then another thing that's coming up soon, is our reporting related to groups functionalities and rewards and incentives for groups, and rewards and incentives. For groups, you'll be able to see your group volunteer participation rate in addition to, your join and attrition rates. You'll be able to separate out key metrics by group participation status. And then with rewards, you'll include comprehensive dashboards for giving and volunteering that allow you to track your caps and budgets, monitor employee utilization of rewards and incentives, and evaluate the effectiveness of different incentive programs at driving engagement. Alright. I'm now gonna turn it back to Kayla for a longer, for a look at our longer vision of Impact Edge. Thanks so much, Kevin. So now let's just take a look at some of the things that are coming up next for Impact Edge. So as we look further out, it'll become a little bit more obvious how each of our strategic themes really enable you to realize the benefits of unlocking your reporting potential. So starting with unify your data. We are working on providing more granular data in Impact Edge to support your daily tactical needs, and we're exploring how to make the solution more flexible. So we know customers have been asking for the ability to configure the dashboard visualization components, which is a journey that we are on. We're also looking at ways that we can create more efficiencies for you within Impact Edge. So we are working to deliver an improved and more intuitive home page that helps springboard you into discovering more insights and provides you really clear pathways to the information that you're looking for. And, of course, we want to ensure that you can communicate and share your story of impact. So, we are working on enabling data visualizations in response to your natural language prompts. So think about how Blackbaud Copilot can go to the next level and really be able to provide visualizations in addition to that natural language response model. And so this is gonna provide yet another way for you to understand and message, your community impact. And so now I'm gonna pass it back to Jewell to close this out with some really great resources that you're not gonna wanna miss. Alright.
