And while none of the goodness you know and love with DBMS is going away, this isn't just a new name. It's a bold step forward in our mission to simplify payments and supercharge impact. With Blackbaud integrated payments, organ organizations can raise more, save more, and sleep better knowing their payments are secure, optimized, and built to work seamlessly across Blackbaud solutions and will now be available at more places than ever before. And this is the truly exciting part. It's no longer just a Blackbaud only story. Whether customers are fundraising on a Blackbaud platform or using a partner solution, we're there. This is an integrated payment system on your terms, more flexible, more connected, and more powerful than ever before. This is all made possible with our Sky payments API. We'll see some examples today of customers who benefit from consolidating their payments through a single merchant services account. It's easy, quick to get started, and opens more channels and gives you back office the gift of simplicity. Here's just one example of a new integration you can easily start using today. Our partner, Givebee, enables your supporters to text to give. This can be used during events and campaigns or any other type of fundraising drive. We know donors love a simple mobile payments experience, and so now you can send personalized text messages that direct your donors to Blackbaud's checkout experience to process the payment. Not only will this help you consolidate your payment processing with Blackbaud integrated payments, but additionally, GiveMe has built an r e n x t integration that records each payment on the donor's constituent record along with fields such as the appeal, the campaign, or the fund. So you're getting a fully embedded, fully connected experience with this partner application. With Blackbaud integrated payments, you can now see a growing number of integrations built by other software platforms in our space partnering with Blackbaud. There are applications here that will help you with telethons, memberships, face to face fundraising, alumni engagement, school programs, ticketing, and more. You can access the marketplace from the products which are in the top left menu, so I highly encourage you to go and check out and see what's available, and keep coming back as we add new partners. If you don't see what you're looking for, let us know. You can post right here in the q and a if you have an application that you'd like to process payments with through our Blackbaud integrated payments. If you're an existing ISV partner or a prospective partner interested in learning more about integrating your solution with Blackbaud integrated payments and being featured in the marketplace, drop a note in the q and a. And, of course, we power and are deeply integrated with many Blackbaud products, giving you a single platform for both payments and fundraising and more. And integrated payment supports transactions across the globe. You can create an integrated payments account and receive funds where when you have a formal presence in The US, Canada, The UK, EU, Australia, or New Zealand. And for support as for your supporters, they can pay from anywhere in the world in the currency that you've set up. And it's true that payment processing is a complex space. It's always evolving with new technologies, different and faster payment methods, rules and regulations, and a multitude of roles from banks, acquirers, and card networks behind the scenes. As a social good organization, how do you keep up when you need to focus on your goals and what's important to your organization? Blackbaud integrated payments specializes in serving the unique payment needs of our customers in the social good and nonprofit industry. We know you have important things to focus on. So we provide a platform that is designed for you. We handle payments using cards, direct debits, digital wallets, in person, online, or mobile, and we cover it all in a secure, cost effective platform. While most other payment service providers are built to serve a wide range of industries from retail shopping or bill payment or other consumer services, Blackbaud integrated payments is built for you and is focused purely on nonprofits and social good. This means we really get to know you and your goals and can go deeper on the payment needs you care about the most to help you drive revenue at your organization. Excellent. Thank you, Jerry. That's super exciting that we are now transitioning, becoming more integrated payments that will enable your organization to raise more, save more, and sleep better from all over in more places. And that's really the foundation that we focus on to help your organization. So let's start with our first tenant, raising more. Processing payments online and optimizing those payments is a key growth strategy for nonprofits and the social good sector. Your organization wants to raise more money and as much money as possible for better health care, schools, a better environment, stronger communities, and much, much more. And we see all the work that goes into fundraising, attracting new donors, acquiring new recurring gifts, retaining those donors. And when the time comes for that donation to process, you want your support to have a very clear and an intuitive experience when making that online payment. Rather than having them call you up with questions about making a, transaction through a form that doesn't seem to be working. So to help you raise more, we offer optimized payment experiences to ensure that the donor's journey throughout the entire giving experiences is seamless and as smooth as possible. And we'll use AI to boost authorization rates of these payments. We also will help you meet the expectations of your donors and supporters by providing the payment methods that they prefer to use. And we also offer solutions that help you receive those payments across a wide array of use cases, whether it's online, in person, at events, etcetera. And we also know that part of raising more involves saving more, both in terms of your time and your money. You wanna keep your cost down so that more money can be used to where it's needed most for your organization. Focusing on your programs and driving impact. You want a system that gives you the data you need at the right time and in the right format so that you don't have additional overhead to manage. You don't have the time or the staff to dedicate hours and hours to doing things that can be automated. Just dealing with expired cards, for example, this impacts your revenue. But reaching out to every single donor is just not feasible and it's not always effective. So you need a time saving solution for that. So to help you save more, we offer ways to lower your processing costs as much as possible or even eliminate it. And with Blackbaud integrated payments, your you with, integrated with your Blackbaud solutions, you don't have to reenter data. And we ensure that all of the back office workflows, disbursements, and reporting are as intuitive and as simple to use through your merchant account portal. And finally, in addition to raising more and saving more, we want you to sleep better at night with zero worries around security, the security of your payment processing. Fraud is always a real and present danger to anyone doing business online, and oftentimes, nonprofits in the social good sector can be very easy targets for card testing, for example. The impact of fraud can be significant. Studies have shown that the actual cost of fraud is three to four times greater than the actual attack itself because of the time and money that's spent restoring trust with your donors, your staff, revisiting security policies, managing communications that have to go out if you've been compromised. And we don't ever want you to have to send that email to your supporters. And to that end, we have a dedicated global team focused on anti money laundering and transaction monitoring 247365. And also to keep us ahead of the curve, we're staying on top of any new compliance, whether requirements, whether they're industry organized and initiated or regulatory requirements based on your local area. So we can keep you informed of the things you need to know and take care of those aspects that we can take care of without you having to engage. Alright. So let's continue. Next up, we'll share some of the recent updates we've made to Blackbaud integrated payments. And Jake, I think we're over to you. Awesome. Thanks, John. So we just hit on the high level value of Blackbaud integrated payments. Now we'll talk through what's new, feed through our key themes of raise more, save more, and sleep better. First, we'll start with what is new to help you raise more. Let's dive in. So I wanna start you off with this quote first from Melissa. So she was given early access to test out Tap to Pay for her iPhone, and had this to say about her new capability where a terminal device is no longer required to process payments. She loves the new tap to pay capability and sees it as a game changer for her organization's events. That being said, the payments world is seeing a revolution in how people pay. These days, in person payments are largely through contactless means. This is evidenced by the fact that over two thirds of all cards in The US offer contactless payment capabilities, and payment industry professionals expect most, if not all cards, will have that same contactless capability by 2027. So while our mobile pay terminal terminals currently support this contactless payment method, our Tap to Pay solution will give you the flexibility to be more mobile while taking these payments from cards and digital wallets with only your device. Tap to Pay is now available on mobile pay terminal for US iPhones offers all the same security and benefits of a standard terminal transaction. So we understand that Tap2Pay will not fully replace all the functionality of terminal devices, like all those old cards that require a Swiber chip, but you can easily switch between Tap2Pay and a terminal on a single mobile device. This will greatly reduce the number of terminals you need to bring to events, but still allow you to take payments that have contactless functionality, hopefully creating a smoother event experience for you and your supporters. Now shifting gears to the online experience, this year we released our new and improved checkout to Luminate online and TeamRaiser. This checkout is not only PCI four point o compliant, but also includes more out of the box wallet options including Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. In addition to more payment methods, our payment experience was built off learnings from our constant optimization happening all across our Blackbaud payment enabled solutions. In keeping with that theme of optimization, this checkout experience will benefit directly from ongoing AB testing that will ensure that Blackbaud payments will continue to help you raise more. And finally, for this checkout capability, we utilize modern payment architecture. This eliminates the need for payment capture downtime during our payment service releases. Log for around the clock payments by your supporters. Now double clicking in the wallets, it's no secret that wallets are more secure and convert better than most payment methods. Now that our checkout experience can support recurring payments using Apple Pay and Google Pay, sustaining programs can benefit from those conversion uplifts. Offering recurring walls for social good orgs is a game changer in sustaining donor support and maximizing impact. As part of our donor surveys, we saw that 80% of donors prefer to pay with digital wallets. Options like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal simplify the payment process and align with how people are already managing their everyday transactions. While it's streamlined the donor experience, reduced friction, from our processing data, we see increased conversion rates by up to 10% compared to standard card not present. Overall, wallets enable a faster secure process and, per analytics, often reduce payment completion time by 50% or more. So when you offer wallets, you're meeting donor preference, enhancing the likelihood of regular contributions and ensuring quicker seamless payments that sustain your critical missions. And finally, we touched on the fact that our checkout is built on AB tested best practices, but I did wanna highlight the whole gamut of our continuous payment optimization strategies. We'll be focusing on three key areas, AB testing experimentation, targeted conversion improvements, and platform level optimizations. These efforts are crucial in ensuring we maximize payment acceptance rates and enhance the overall supporter experience. First off, AB testing is a powerful tool used to identify the most effective payment processes. By running control experiments, we can compare different versions of our payment pages and processes to see what performs best. This method allows us to optimize user experiences by testing different layouts, messaging, and payment options where we can then determine what resonates best with supporters. Overall, AB testing provides concrete data that guides our efforts ensuring that we make the informed decisions that actually drive results. Beyond our AB testing, we heavily work towards holistic conversion improvements as well. So with a focus on specific areas where we can enhance the payment process to boost conversion rates. This includes offering localized payment options that are popular and trusted in specific regions. That way, we can cater to local preference and see increased conversion rates. Additionally, we streamline checkout processes by reducing the steps required to complete a payment and reduce abandonment while enhancing supporter satisfaction. And finally, let's dive into the platform side, which are which this is a critical piece in improving payment acceptance rates and authorization rates. Some of us have experienced the frustration of card being declined for no apparent reason, but then only to work on a different site. This is where our continuous optimization effort comes into play. Blackbaud integrated payments processes a wide variety of payments including online, in person, back office, and recurring gifts. We've developed a system with continuous optimization to maximize acceptance rates for all these payments, ensuring that as many funds as possible are captured for the benefit of social good organizations. One example of how we boost acceptance rates is by using network tokens. These tokens are unique to the card network and replace raw card numbers. This results in more successful transactions. We are seeing more and more of these, tokens being used, to process payments. We do request these, the creation of these tokens on your behalf, and we are seeing a really good, impact combined with Blackbaud's first class recurring engine. This relates to dramatically improved authorization rates. Additionally, we focus on authorization optimization, which involves refining how payment requests are transmitted across card networks and implementing real time retries based on machine learning. This can include adjusting the timing or implements of the message format used to send payment requests, resulting in higher acceptance rates. And finally, a recent experiment we conducted involved address verification settings. Our analysis found that AVS settings set to the lowest setting actually improve authorization rates without increasing fraud or chargebacks. This needs to be balanced with other fraud measures, so we only allow this if we know where the payment is coming from, can assess its overall risk. So in conclusion, our continuous payment optimization strategies including AB testing, targeted conversion improvements, and platform level optimizations are essential for maximizing payment acceptance rates and enhancing the support experience. By staying vigilant and making data driven decisions, we ensure that our payment processes are as efficient and effective as possible. So we just discussed how we're helping you raise more. Next, we'll dive in dive into how we're helping you save more. Alright. First off, AI is exciting, and technological breakthroughs with AI have the potential to transform the way we work. But navigating tech frontiers is a serious responsibility. We are committed to harnessing the new potential of AI innovations in in a way that is responsible and that ensures the social social impact community benefits from accessible, powerful AI driven capabilities. Blackbaud Integrated Payments has taken its first step in this journey by bringing the data you want exactly as you want directly to your fingertips. We are excited to announce that we are implementing Blackbaud Copilot, support of Blackbaud integrated payments transaction reporting. This advancement will enable more in-depth and quicker transaction analysis by helping to create transaction reports using natural language search and suggested data views. We are currently testing this with a limited release to a handful of customers, so stay tuned to our what's new for details on when it will be generally available. And sticking in the reporting world, we've talked about credit card updater or CCU quite a bit in the past, but just a quick reminder that it is an automated process that updates both recurring and real time payments with the latest card information. These automatic updates reduce disruptions in recurring gifts, have updated over 5,000,000 cards for donors and resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars being recovered in real time as transaction as the transaction is being processed. So with that quick refresher, we have an exciting new addition to our reporting where you can now target outreach to donors in cases where cards couldn't be automatically updated. The c u the CCU service relies on banks and issuers to be enrolled in an updater program. There are some cases where we find that cards can't be updated. In the past, these cards just appeared as not updated, but it wasn't clear whether this was because there's no new card number or the card wasn't enrolled. So now the CCU report will show cards that were not explicitly updated by the service because the card is not eligible for those updates. You will see a card not updated contact pair message in that report. This doesn't happen often, but when it does, you'll now be able to reach out to the donor directly, get the updated payment information. Alright. So I've covered raise more and save more. We'll wrap up with what we're doing to help you sleep better. Alright. PCI, everyone's favorite topic. The payment card industry or PCI has data security standards that are set that are set of requirements instituted by the PCI Security Standards Council. This may this council is made up of major credit card brands including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more. It was it was created to enhance card data security. All organizations including Blackbaud and your organization that process, store, or transmit payment card data must comply with PCI requirements or face compliance risk that could result in blocked payment processing. These standards are intended to protect cardholder data from breaches and fraud, but they also protect banks and card networks from the increase in cost of fraud. In our sector, you don't typically see people stealing credit card data and making donations for social good. However, orgs in our sector can be an attractive target for fraudsters in two main ways. First is running card tests where they purchase credit card numbers off the dark web and create a script that will run those cards through an online checkout. They go to charities because most folks won't see or notice a small dollar transaction on their card. There's no goods or services being shipped as part of the transaction. So it's a very easy way for them to validate which of the stolen cards are legitimate, could be used elsewhere for other fraudulent purchases. The second type of attack we see in our sector is card skimming. This refers to malware that records credit card numbers as they are being entered on your online forms. Sometimes bad actors will add malicious code as part of seemingly innocent third party library or browser add ons, which secretly steal card numbers that can then be used. And so given these increased attack factors, this is where the PCI Council has stepped in to help make, some additional safeguards, not only to protect you and cardholders, but also your brand. Some of the changes include tamper resistant fields where card numbers are entered, and then stricter rules around scripts that can run on your web pages. These new standards took effect in early twenty twenty five with over 50 new requirements in PCI version four. Our Blackbaud security and our Blackbaud checkout solution addresses these new requirements to secure where and how payment card data is captured through online payments. You should still assess your PCI exposure across your organization. And as a helpful starting point, we released a blog post with more resources at that link. So now that we've covered what's new and ongoing, I'll kick it over to Mina to talk about what's coming soon. Great. Thank you, Jake, and hi, everyone. We're gonna move into our next section now and talk about what's coming soon, and we're going to highlight just a few of the key upcoming features coming to Blackbaud Integrated Payments to help you raise more. Let's dive in. Alright. So here are just two examples of new payment methods that we're working to enable in checkout to help you appeal to a broader audience. The first up is DAF pay, and this is something that allows your supporters to contribute using the donor advised funds or DAFs. Now, typically, these donations require having your DAF open on one point web page, your DAF account, and then manually transferring details over, to your donation forms. So what we've done by allowing donors to give directly through checkout is that we're essentially eliminating a lot of the friction that comes with making DAF payments today to avoid donors having to switch between different systems. What's good to know is that DAF payments are also known for larger contributions, often exceeding a thousand dollars from what we have seen so far. DAF payments are one of the fastest growing areas of ways to donate, and being able to present this in checkout can help you show your supporters that your organization is innovative and keeping up with market trends. And so we're looking forward to making this one available. Amazon Pay, another well known and trusted brand, allows people to pay using their existing Amazon accounts. And, you know, when you have brands like this on your website, they can help reduce abandonment. It can increase conversion rates. And similar to other digital wallets, it speeds up the whole checkout process because people are not entering in their payment details. So look out for more information on these new payment methods in our next product update briefing. Let's talk about international direct debit. As a a global service with Blackbaud integrated payments, we focus on bringing more payment methods for international currencies as well, and we started here with Direct Debit. For our US and Canadian audience today, just a reminder that your organization, if you have a formal legal presence in any of these other countries, you're able to collect payments when you create a merchant account for that country. And direct debit is important because it's actually the most preferred payment method in other countries for sustained gifts. So it's really important for customers who want to grow their recurring giving programs at a global scale. We're gonna be offering this capability in different products this year starting with Canada and Australia and The UK. As I mentioned, Canadian support is coming up first. It's gonna be in Blackbaud online giving forms and also in Luminate online this quarter in q two. Luminate online actually will go live in April, so you may have, already seen this if you are using Luminate today. And the feature essentially is adding Canadian direct debit to the new checkout experience that Jake took us through earlier today. The goal here with automating direct debit payments is that it eliminates, again, a lot of the manual work that's, we see our customers doing today in sending and receiving files from the bank and matching up those payments to gift records. Many organizations we've talked to also have to get approvals from senior leaders or executives every time they want to send a file to their bank for processing those payments. So using this new feature, not only will it help you consolidate all of your pro processing along with your usual credit card volume, but you're also saving a lot of time when, you know, those recurring payments are due every month. For Canadian direct debit specifically, Blackbaud will handle the management of the pre authorized debit agreements. Now these are mandates that are required by Canadian regulators. They're required for every one time payment, every recurring payment, but we've built the features to make this really easy for our customers. You can access these mandates anytime, and we'll even update them if there are changes to recurring gifts, which we know happen. So you can just, be rest assured that you'll always have access to the most recent and compliant version of the agreement should you need to provide it to any authority. So, exciting news with this update. If you have any questions on using these features, please reach out to us, and you can also join the product update briefings for Luminate online and for online giving to learn more there. Alright. Let's talk about payment integrations with other software platforms. As a reminder, with our payments API, you can take your existing Blackbaud merchant account with Blackbaud integrated payments and plug it into any other software that you use today to process payments, such as telethons, giving day campaigns, auctions, and more. Many Blackbaud customers today already simplify their payment processing and all of their back office reconciliation just by using their existing merchant account with Blackbaud. And that integration can vary depending on whether it's something that's built by a partner or a consulting company or even your internal development teams. We have some really exciting new features coming soon to the API. We've seen and heard a lot today about the new modern checkout experience that's now available through online giving for our NXT and BBC RM and Ultra, and now also in Luminate online. And now we're also working to make this new checkout available through our Sky payments API. This means access to one time and recurring Apple Pay, Google Pay, to donor cover, and also the international direct debit payment methods that we've just talked about. These are all gonna be available for any of the other software platforms that you use today. I also wanna share that this new checkout experience as shown on this slide, it has both a model and an embedded or an inline component, which means that you have even more flexibility in your custom or your partner applications on controlling the type of user experience that you want to build while still protecting your application, from a PCI compliant perspective. Because just like Blackbaud checkout, we host these forms. We manage all of the credit card details so that you don't have to. This is something that we are super excited about. If you're learning, if you're interested in becoming an early adopter for this new checkout experience, with the payments API later this year, please, just post your details in the q and a, and we will definitely be in touch. And, actually, related to that, BBDEV days is coming up in June, and this is actually a really wonderful opportunity to learn more about how to extend your Blackbaud solutions. And it's not just for technical teams, but for everyone to come and learn about how automation can help you use your Blackbaud applications much more efficiently. And what we hear is most valuable for our customers is that you can hear directly from others on how they're using and extending their Blackbaud solutions. You can see here that we've got several payment sessions during this conference. You can see more examples of really great integrations that have already been built by Blackbaud ISV partners. And we'll have a session dedicated also to the give the text to give example that Jerry shared earlier. We'll also have, more hands on sessions that dive into more technical implementation details for developers in the audience, including a preview of the new checkout experience coming to the API that I just talked about. So really great conference. It gets larger every year. Please go ahead and register to end. Okay. So as always, we want to leave you with some, some helpful actionable tips and also give you some of a recap of the things that we've talked about today just to help you go back, apply some of these changes, share them with your colleagues. First up, for digital wallets, as we saw in the data, wallets are now just a really vital part of any checkout experience, to allow for those quick and easy payments. So highly encouraged just to ensure that all of your checkout pages have wallets enabled. It's really easy to set up with PayPal. You just have to create your business account, link it up in your portal. You can get Apple Pay set up very easily. These are secure and trusted transactions, and donors really love to use them. We've talked about, with Blackbaud integrated payments, the ability to simplify payments by using Blackbaud for all of your payment processing needs. Again, getting the benefits of the stronger sustained giving, the optimized authorization rates, and optimization that Jake spoke about earlier. All of those benefits come through when you're using payments in any application. So, the marketplace that Jerry highlighted earlier is where we will be posting new integrations from our partners. You can also do custom integrations with our API. So I would just think about all of the applications that you use today and what opportunities there are for you to plug them into your current merchant account and really work on simplifying your back office. We talked about tap to pay, and this is where you can take payments anywhere. This is built into the existing mobile pay terminal app. There's no additional hardware that's required, and you can be up and running minute in minutes to accept, payments anywhere that you need to. Next, we talked about targeted engagement. And now with additional details in the credit card updater report, you get to know, you'll know when to reach out to donors and reengage with them, again, to prevent recurring gifts that would otherwise be lost if those cards no longer process automatically. Another good reminder always is saving on processing fees with complete cover and donor cover through checkout. And reminder again that these apply to all one time and recurring gifts, so the savings there can be really substantial. And finally, look out for Blackbaud Copilot coming soon, to help you create lists more quickly and efficiently in DBMS. So I hope those were helpful. And, moving on, I want want to mention our discovery, system. So please sign up for discovery sessions. These are ways that we, learn from you directly. We always appreciate the time that you give us to share your experiences and your feedback. It's also a great way to raise your hand if you're interested in learning any about any of the upcoming features that we've talked about, get involved in early adopter programs, and things like that. So go ahead and sign up at this link. And finally, BBCON registration is open. We would love to see you join us in Philadelphia this October. Our team presenting here today will all be there, and we love meeting in person. So if you're interested in attending BBCON this year, then now is the time to take advantage of some early bird pricing. Thank you everyone for attending. We really appreciate your time and attention today. There will be a survey, that will be posted on your screen, so please just take a few seconds to provide your feedback. And thanks again for joining us.
