Transcript for "Product Update Briefing - YourCause® CSRconnect®":
Hello, everyone, and welcome to our product update briefing for YourCause' CSR Connect solution. We are so excited that you are able to join us today. 1st, I'd love to get started with a round of introductions. My name is Kayla Barnes. My pronouns are she, her, hers, and I'm a product marketing manager with YourCause Solutions and Impact Edge at Blackbaud, and I've been with the company for a little over 7 years now. And I'm Andrea Vjaglu. I'm the head of YourCause product, and my pronouns are she, her, hers, and I've been with Blackbaud, for about a year and a half now. Hi, everyone. Thanks for joining us today. My name is Jewel Willett. I'm senior manager of customer success enablement for your cause with Blackbaud. My pronouns are she, her, hers, and I have been with the company for a little over 11 years. Hi, everyone. My name is Chris Matthew. I'm a product manager here on the YourCause team. I oversee primarily, like, the volunteering and onboarding and login experience. My pronouns are he, him, his, and I've been with the company for 4 years. Hi, all. Michael Veneta here. I'm a senior product manager, over on CSR Connect, managing a lot of the giving, and international functionality. I've been with YourCause and Blackbaud for just over 11 years as well, and my pronouns are he, him, his. Awesome. Thanks for those introductions, everybody. Here's a quick look at today's agenda. So first, I'd love to start out with just a couple of minutes, talking about the YourCause solutions. And then from there, I'll pass the mic to my colleague, Jewel, who will cover, some important information on customer success resources, and then we'll get into our road map conversation. So that portion of the presentation will cover updates across 3 time horizons. So we'll take a look at what's available now and been recently released, what's coming soon, and then what some of our longer term innovation plans are. And then finally, I'll close this out with a reminder to join us for our 1st Impact Edge product update briefing, which you won't want to miss. A couple of quick tips for using today's webinar platform, Goldcast. So the webinar audio will be broadcasted through your computer speakers. So if you're having any problems hearing audio or connecting, please refresh your browser. That's gonna be the quickest way to get that working. And just a note that Chrome is the best browser for viewing. So if you're having any problems on Safari or Edge, we recommend hopping over to Chrome. To the right hand side of your screen, you're gonna see a couple of widgets, one of those being the q and a feature. So that's on the far right hand side of your screen. For questions and answers today, we will be answering them throughout, and we ask that you give us some specifics when asking your question. So just give us a little bit of a note about what functionality you're specifically asking about as we might not be moving as quickly through q and a as we are through today's presentation. You'll also see a docs tab. And in that docs tab, you'll see a few links that we'll reference throughout today. I just wanna point out that that very top link is the companion guide, and this is a great kind of synthesis of the information you'll hear today. So kind of a quick summary of the recently released and coming soon functionality that you'll hear throughout today's presentation, a great tool to reference back to in the future. And then finally, we would do have a chat functionality. That chat is not open to the public, but we'll be able to push out messages there. Should we run into any technical difficulties? If you joined us yesterday, we did have a little bit of issues with connectivity, but the good news is today is smooth sailing, knock on wood. So if there is any issues, we'll make sure to post that in the chat. Because this is a presentation that contains forward looking statements, I do need to read our safe harbor statement very quickly in its entirety. So this presentation does contain forward looking statements that involve inherent risks, uncertainties, and assumptions. It outlines Blackbaud's current plans and general product direction as of the date this presentation was created. Functionality described in this presentation that is not currently available is subject to change at any time without notice at Blackbaud's sole discretion. It does not represent a commitment to develop or release specific features within the time frame discussed according to the presented design or at all. Please make any purchase decisions based on features and functionality that are currently available. So like I said, I just wanted to spend a couple of minutes grounding us in the overall your cause solution set. So in addition to CSR Connect, which is why you're here today, YourCause also offers Grants Connect. That's our corporate grant making solution. And Grants Connect helps companies and their foundations manage their entire grant making workflow. So from online applications to reviews, payments, and reporting, there's a lot that Grants Connect can help you do to power your community investment programs. And then with integration points between these two products, companies can get a holistic view of the impact that they're making across giving, volunteering, and corporate grant making efforts. Companies and employees also using CSR Connect and Grants Connect have access to one of the largest global databases of vetted nonprofits, which is NPO Connect. NPO Connect is a free portal that nonprofits can use to create their charity profile, get payments faster, and so much more. We'll touch on that a little bit more in a minute. And last but certainly not least, at the bottom of this slide, you can see Impact Edge, which is our reporting and storytelling solution. And we created Impact Edge because we believe that CSR professionals deserve a reporting solution as inspiring as the impact that you all make. So with Impact Edge, we are unifying data to unlock your reporting potential, and where that starts is by bringing data together from your cause's CSR Connect and Grants Connect solutions in a more comprehensive way than we ever have before. So that data is centralized and then populates into the impact dashboards component of the platform, which we'll talk about today, and that is a complimentary piece of functionality within Impact Edge. We're currently rolling this out to clients as we speak and anticipate all clients will have access to impact dashboards by the end of this year. From there, the data populates into Blackbaud Copilot, which is a piece of functionality that our clients have the opportunity to add on to their partnership with us. And Blackbaud Copilot is our generative AI assistant, really designed to help you save time and unlock new insights about your data, turning numbers into compelling impact narratives. So imagine being able to create volunteer event descriptions, draft press releases, and answer questions about your programs from staplers in just minutes. I'm sorry. Not even minutes, just moments. Copilot is truly designed to be an extension of your team and help you save time and bring impactful insights to the forefront. And last, I wanna touch on NPO Connect really quickly for any nonprofit professionals that might be viewing today's presentation. So like I mentioned, NPO Connect is our free nonprofit portal, that charities can use to really engage with what we call our global good network of clients and the employees that leverage our solutions. So nonprofit administrators can register and log in at nonprofit.yourcause.com, which is also linked over in that doc section that I referenced earlier. And there's a lot of things that you can do with your NPO Connect profile. So you can make it easier to receive employee donations and manage volunteer opportunities, and you can manage your cherry profile that populates within CSR Connect and Grants Connect and do things like update your organization's mission, stories, goals. You can add search tags, update your logo, add in contact information, and so much more through that public facing profile. And then in the back end, you can also register to receive donations electronically, getting them to you up to 3 weeks faster than by check. You can also access donor details, verify donations and volunteer hours, and even create volunteer events that populate into CSR Connect. So if you're a charity on the line today and you haven't already registered in our NPO Connect profile, I highly encourage you to check it out. And with that, I'd love to pass the mic to my colleague, Jewel, who is here to represent our amazing customer success and support functions. Take it away, Jewel. Thank you so much, Kayla, for that great introduction to the time that we'll spend today. I'm thrilled to be here as a reflection of the wonderful teams I'll speak about in the next few slides. You know, we believe that everyone who uses our platforms deserves a customer success experience that's efficient and empowering. As a customer of your cause from Blackbaud, you can expect top notch support and resources from your for your administrators, your employees, and your nonprofit partners. For client administrators, all the work that you do ultimately is to make an impact, and so is ours. Customer success managers understand the unique needs and goals of each client they support, providing consultation and recommendations. Their mission is to help clients achieve their program goals and deliver more impact. Working together with your customer success manager is admin support. Our team of product experts supporting the technical needs of client admins include including troubleshooting for site and data issues. Their focus on prompt responses and resolution ensures your work isn't slowed down when technical questions arise. We aim to make the experience engaging and seamless for your end users. Intuitive features and trusted donation disbursement keep your employees coming back time and time again. Our customer advocacy team is here to answer questions your end users might not know about the platform and your specific programs. This is a complimentary service that not all vendors offer. It actually creates so much time saving for you as program administrators. This team is available for your employees and users via live chat, phone, and email during normal business hours. In rounding out, the solution we wanna talk to today in terms of success is NPO Connect. As Kayla shared, it's a free portal for nonprofits where they can not only manage their charity profile but also set up electronic payments, access donor details, create volunteer events, and more. And these profiles are visible to end users of CSR Connect as well as our sister solutions, Grants Connect and Impact Edge. We provide your nonprofit partner with support answering questions about what they might have within the portal and for disbursements through live chat and email. Just, there we go. Alright. Important slides. So we definitely wanted to wait and make sure it transitioned. But we are committed to providing you with the best possible experience, and that's why we've made help center content readily available and integrated a new communication tool, Pendo, into our admin panel. These resources are designed to enhance the admin experience by creating quick access to help content and customer support. They are programmed to match the page that you're visiting within the client admin portal. So you simply click on the help center in the top right menu, and you'll be linked to the information responsive to the page that you're actually navigating, allowing you to access everything from feature guides to reporting logic and all that might be in between. It is obviously a pleasure to talk about the 2 teams that we just reviewed, but beyond customer success and support teams, we provide a multitude of other resources around thought leadership, connecting our clients to each other, and facilitating product feedback. Today, we wanted to highlight just a few standouts from this group, including community, Blackbaud University, and our roadshow events. If we've had the pleasure of meeting in person or virtual, you know that CSR Connect community is near and dear to mine and many other people's hearts around here. All Blackbaud communities provide an online space for clients to access resources, post product ideas, engage in discussions, and more. Our private YourCause communities are accessible via invite only. So if you haven't joined us there yet, check out the client admin portal homepage or speak to your CSM so that you can get an invitation link. Once you're in, you will have access to connect with us. You can keep in touch with the Global Good Network via discussion board chats. And if you're new to our community, you can access getting started information. Come along and learn with us. You're able to get the latest product updates and resources, including our well known crisis and disaster relief resources, which are there to help you prepare ahead of cyclical seasons as well as respond with speed to stakeholders after certain events unfold. And, finally, to engage. From one central location, you can access product events like this one, meetups, thought leadership webinars, and more. Many of us on the customer success team like to say that we are lifelong learners, and I think that we see that reflection within our customers too. So we have been building a path to accelerate your mission with our product through Blackbaud University for your cause. This is a free online elearning community of powerful training courses strategically built to improve the knowledge skill sets of our customers. These elearning courses support everyone, whether you're onboarding with us for the first time or joining a team of admins already implemented in the platform. We know it can be a lot to learn a new software, and this LMS platform gives you the understanding of the product that you need to become a subject matter expert on your own team. Our current learning path includes courses for processing, community design, engagement elements, and a lesson to master our standard reporting suite for CSR Connect. Finishing up this year, we're very excited, as well as moving into 2025, but we'll complete the entire admin essentials course for CSR Connect with implementation details, lessons on data hygiene to improve your HR file, and courses for all areas of the CSR Connect admin panel. And then we'll move on to learning paths for our sister solutions, Grants Connect and Impact Edge. So Blackbaud University For Your Cause is free and easily accessible with your Blackbaud ID. So if you have any questions about access, the best place to start is with your customer success manager, so that you can start earning your SME status with all of us today. This was a wonderful year on the road. We are very proud to have had a full year back hosting our roadshow events from regional meetups to our annual conference, BBCon, and attending numerous industry events where I know I specifically got to connect with some of you myself. But we've been on the road quite a bit. Our team has brought the Global Good Network together in all locations that you see featured on this map today, and, we are looking forward to soon sharing throughout the different venues that we have and have talked about today about all the places we're headed in 2025. These events have included everything from multi day conferences to networking social hours to partnership presentations, and no industry topic was off the table. Thought leaders and CSR professionals discussed everything from trust based philanthropy to challenges and preparing for disaster response to benchmarking. Peers led sessions on grant making best practices and building business cases to pitch an idea, and they showed off their programs on our platform. It is always fun to plan these with our host customers, and really look for topics that fit the regional needs and speak to the core audience that will be attending. And we cannot wait to see the stories that will be uncovered in 2025. We wanna take a moment, and if you helped us host an event this year, thank you. We love to connect with customers in person whenever we get the chance, but we love connecting you all with each other even more. To keep up with the events, follow us on LinkedIn, keep an eye on the events tab and community, and expect communications from your CSM or your account sales executives as well. Thank you for letting me share these wonderful programs with you today. I am so excited to pass the mic to Andrea and team. The product team has put together thoughtful information about what we've recently released as well as short term and long term vision. Everybody get ready. You know, do a little wiggle, and just sit back, and I just I hope you enjoy what you're about to hear as much as as I am excited about it as well. Thank you, Jewel. Super excited, to present our road map to you today. And as always, we will be telling our road map story through 3 time horizons. First, we'll start with the features that are available now and have been released since we last presented in the spring. I know Jewel and team do a phenomenal job showcasing those recent releases in the monthly client admin workshops. So, hopefully, none of these are new to you, and you've heard about these features already. Next, we will talk about what's coming soon in our release preview. These are features that we are already working on and can't wait to get into your hands in the next 6 months. And finally, we will round out with with what's next for CSR Connect and our your cause portfolio and share some of the work we have planned for the longer term. We're introducing new innovation themes that will serve as our guidelines for future product development. You might recall our previous innovation themes of evolve, expand, and engage, and 2 of our new themes, modernize and globalize, are similar to those previous themes. With modernizing the platform, we are focused on how to continually make user interfaces and experience updates, plus mobile access updates to give users and admins more a more modern experience. For globalize, we're focused on how to make the platform as universal as possible, accounting for local needs, and making sure that your experiences are as localized as possible. We're focused on innovating ex inclusively so that your entire footprint of employees and communities can participate with ease. Our last theme, connected systems, is the newest concept to our solutions. This theme focuses on bridging our powerful blackbaud solutions across the social and corporate impact network and partnering with others to bring you more data, faster donation processing, and additional capabilities. This isn't new for our product teams, but we are placing an increased focus on this area to help our collective impact go further and faster. Before we jump into updates, I wanna recognize that we know that no CSR program are is the same. From team size to budgets to everywhere everything in between, each of you on the line today has a different perspective, but there is one thing we all have in common, time or lack thereof. We have a lot of exciting updates to showcase today that are focused on helping you drive efficiency in the administration of your program so that you can focus on the more exciting aspects of your job. We know that your time is limited, but we're working hard to give you as much time back in your day as possible. With that being said, let's dive on in and get started with showcasing features that are available today. Here's a snapshot of some of the most impactful features we've released over the past 6 months. We won't have time to cover everything, but in I encourage you to reference the release notes and the recording of the monthly client admin workshops we mentioned earlier, both found in the community that Jewel talked about to learn more. On each slide, you'll be able to see which theme that piece of innovation is connected to. Every round of product update briefings, we love to call some special attention to updates that were made because of your ideas. So that little light bulb icon, you know that means that the functionality was informed by client feedback and ideas from our CSR connect community, giving you the credit for your good ideas. Michael and Chris will go into more depth on some of these items in just a moment. There's a ton of exciting things to cover. CSR Connect is loaded with a lot of features, and we know that companies leverage the platform in a lot of different ways. Some companies offer only giving programs to employees, other offer just volunteering, while many manage both. We've sequenced our available now highlights by functional areas so that you can clearly see what updates correspond with each functional area. I'm really excited that we will start our updates with what's new in our admin portal. We know that you are the heartbeat of making your organization's CSR programs run day in and day out. We have a lot of exciting updates that are focused on helping you drive efficiency in the administration of your programs so that you can focus on Alright. Looks like we lost Andrea there for a second, but I think it segues perfectly into CSR connect admins. So So I'm excited to get us started with some of the exciting updates that we have. And like Andrea mentioned, we're excited to save you guys some time. So the first one that we're gonna kick off today, we're super excited to let everyone on this pub call know that CSR Connect admin is now available in your mobile device. So Andrea mentioned how important time is, and I can't agree more with that. So sometimes you just need to log in. Right? And you need to quickly make it a change to an engagement element. Sometimes you need to quickly log in and make a change to your community's message banner. And we know there's all those times where you have to quickly approve a match request, event, fundraiser, all the things. Right? Now this is possible and is in the palm of your hands with CSR connect admin being on your mobile device. So access all features anytime and anywhere. And speaking of approvals, I'm really excited to talk about this next piece of functionality that I know will save you some time. As an admin, you're busy managing your community's programs and probably many other things. Let's help you save some time with the new approvals manager that is located conveniently on the new home page or on the home page. From here, you can take care of all the requests that need your attention and don't have to go hunting for it anymore. With the ability to search and filter on this page, review the request on your mobile device or laptop quickly and all in one place. The approvals manager is currently in our pilot program. So if you're interested sorry. What was that? It looks like my assistant just giving me some news. I don't know why they didn't share this on Teams, but I got a paper. Wait. I can share this on the pub? Wow. Folks, I'm excited to share that the approvals manager is now live for all of our customers. So now if you log in to CSR connect admin, look at the top right, you'll now see the new approvals manager. So start using it, save some time, or it's so awesome to see that everybody can take advantage of this. Clients love our splash models and how it brings your community crucial information when it's needed. With the new splash modal manager, we wanna help admins get ahead and be efficient because your time is crucial. Is there an upcoming announcement or campaign your team is planning to do? The splash modal manager allows you to make multiple splash modals so you can always stay one step ahead by creating them in advance. Or does your community run a campaign or event every year? Save splash modals and reuse them so you don't have to spend time recreating the same content next time you need it. Many clients utilize our segmentation functionality to give their users a unique experience based on employee type, office location, or whatever else the case may be. For clients that have multiple or even many segments, this highlight will be a real time saver. For example, imagine you need to update your logo or maybe you wanna start promoting fundraisers on the home page. Now you'll be able to make those changes one time, apply to all segments, or you can select the eligible segments without overriding other unique components of your segments. Next up, we're gonna cover some general community updates. So speaking of time, while we've talked a lot about saving admins time, I wanna get a little bit more literal about it for your end users. So time is crucial in so many ways, and another factor of that is time zone. So whether your community is remote or global, we all know 1 PM can mean many things to different people. All users can now enter their time zone into their account, and this can be utilized in volunteering and fundraising. And along with time, we understand language plays a crucial role for your community and how landing on a site that is already translated brings delight to users. This is where our new browser detection comes into play. For users logging in for the first time, if they use one of our supported languages, which is 26, as their default browser language, we will set CSR connect to that language for them so they can access the site with that language from the get go. With stranded funds, we're excited to highlight 2 new improvements for this functionality. As always, we love the feedback from our customers and how we can better serve your community. We all receive a lot of emails, and we know our inboxes can be super overwhelming at times. Previously, 14 days was a time given to take action on stranded funds, and we realized 14 days was just not enough time for most users. So to take action, we we bumped this up to 30 days. So now users have 30 days to take action on their stranded funds. These funds are crucial to our users, our customers, our nonprofits, and even your cause. So we're glad to share this news with everyone here today. And the second part is that stranded funds now can handle traditional holds and can be utilized to redirect those funds as well. In CSR Connect, we consider traditional holds to be when a charity is no longer eligible or a charity is no longer active in your cause. So an example of this is when a nonprofit needs to file their paperwork, but we haven't received it yet or they haven't done it yet. This can cause a traditional hold as the status with the IRS has changed. Alright. Switching gears to volunteering. A great problem that needs attention is that we have so many users engaging with volunteering. The more participants, the more we need to manage events. Our team was able to make adjustments to the manage participants page to modernize and improve efficiency for our event managers. So this includes a new filters, new sorting options, and ability to see all participant types on one page. Event managers have a lot to do for each event, so these improvements ensure that they can spend their time helping the community do the great work that they're doing. Volunteer time off is a crucial part of several clients and their communities. We've learned that BTO can sometimes come down to the event level and the work your community is doing. Should a training session be eligible for BTO? That answer can be different for each of our clients, and this new checkbox allows you to determine what event is or isn't eligible for VTO. So once the VTO checkbox is enabled, just like before, the participants can apply VTO if they're eligible. Our event managers have done all the work. They've created the event. They found the best image for the event. They've coordinated everything with the nonprofit on all the different things they gotta do. But sometimes, it's still a struggle to get folks to be aware and sign up for events. Let's help our event managers with our new improvements that we're sharing today. Share event was repurposed to have employees lead the charge to invite their colleagues. Who doesn't love volunteering as a team? Once a user is invited, they'll get the info they need via email so your employees don't have to spend time writing it up or ask chat asking chat gpt for help. The system will send the important details for you. And speaking of details, we understand our event managers put crucial information in the meetup instructions to help their participants prior to attending the event. This information is now available in both the participant confirmation and participant reminder email. And finally, we also wanna help your users more easily find meaningful opportunities to engage when they're searching for events. We added a new filter to help users find events created by their peers. So for customers who utilize MPO events or use one of our volunteer partners, this filter helps ensure events created by their community and peers are only displayed in the search opportunities. Alright. With that, I'm gonna pass it to Michael and I'll get us started with give functionality. Hi there. Okay. I think it's finally let me on stage. Hope everyone's doing well today. Again, Michael Veneta, senior product manager, gonna go through some of our giving functionality updates that are available now. So as we start, we've made a couple quality of life updates to, bits of our, my giving pages, to help simplify a lot of the action items that are included within this page. Meaning, simplifying some of the options that users can select, updating some of the information to link to different parts of our pages, such as the charity name that you'll see across, my giving now links and lands you to, the charity's page, allowing you to take new actions such as a new donation for an org that you've donated to previously or to even start up volunteerism from that page. We've also updated things like the edit functionality to simplify some of those options, condensing them into one edit option. And on that note, we'll actually go into some updates that are coming soon around that edit flow in its entirety. We also, made sure that we've updated some of the donation status pop ups, within the modals so that it is tracking against those status, similar how it's doing with the match status just for some continuity between that page and making sure that your users are informed of those statuses as it moves towards completion and and landing with the associated charity. And lastly, just some quality of life simplification of things like that where cancel donation is now simply cancel and edit donation is now simply edit. Just making sure that there's clear real estate being used against those terms where some of those were a little extra wordy. Moving on to our, peer to peer functionality. So many have used this over the years, and this is a big one that's come through as a piece of idea that's coming from our our clients asking for this functionality. Similar to how we have it within our, volunteerism functionality, and in match reviews, we've developed an admin and reviewal submission process for peer to peer fundraising. So now if a client needs to have a little bit more level of oversight into the peer to peer fundraisers, it can be set up so that they are submitted but won't be available to all of your employee base until it's approved. So allowing admins to have better control, they can review and edit those fundraisers as they're submitted so that they can be published quickly with minimal back and forth between the creator and the admins. And then we made a couple other quality of life updates to pair with that. So some updated designs on the home page, introducing the search and moving it to, center of the page in the banner as well as updates to the my fundraiser page specific for users, making it a lot easier to see what you've participated fundraiser wise in the past, what you have created fundraiser wise, and those total contributions. We definitely encourage you guys to go and check those out as they're live now in any of your fundraising communities. Next up, we're gonna go through a little bit of of groups and and more of a reminder message to all who, are not currently using us. So our group's functionality is a big powerful point of connection within CSR Connect. It's with groups, you can connect employees up to different programs, to private or public groups, ones that are virtual and remote across the country, across the world. They're meant to bring folks together and organize them in that way. This functionality is designed with global in mind. So there's translation pieces that are available with it, and it's available across all of our associated languages. Not only that, but within groups, you members have access to, things like discussion boards, the ability to upload, you know, important documents that may need to be shared amongst that group or photos that that are coming from, volunteer events that you can attach to a group to make that, a more useful and engaging group, to be used within your CSR community. As an admin, you're able to collect data on that engagement, and we have specific reportings around that, especially tied to volunteerism, tied to groups. So you can see how, those connect across your associate platform and then continue to make, you know, decisions on how you promote and utilize those groups and volunteerism based on those data, that you can put together. We know that creating inclusive cultures is top of mind for our clients, so we wanna make sure you're aware of this powerful functionality. And a reminder, this functionality, groups, is free. If you've got a CSR connect subscription, you can enable groups whenever you're ready. So if you're interested in learning more, currently not using it, and wanna see it in, one of our lower environments like UAT and test and learn about it, we we ask you you please reach out to your customer success manager, or you can drop us a note in the q and a section, and we'll follow-up with you. Lastly, I highly encourage you to check out the webinar that we hosted a few weeks ago with our friends at Direct Supply and how they leverage our group's functionality, to really empower their community and their culture of impact. It's a great firsthand look at how one of our clients is using this functionality today, and you can find a link to the webinar in the docs section on the right hand side of your screen 38. And if for whatever reason it's not in the docs section, please ask in the q and a section, and we'll follow-up and make sure that get sent directly to you. Moving into some updates specifically around reporting. We've got a few updates to share with you, including some some more information on our newest reporting capabilities, Impact Edge. Before we jump into that newest capability, I wanna make sure you're aware of our entire reporting ecosystem across ESR Connect. So this is an area where I I work with our teams to continue to enhance and add to these. We offer a multitude of data feeds, and public reports that can be used to ingest into your own systems and create your own internal ad hoc reports if you'd like just the raw data exports pieces. We offer, well over 50 standard reports, insight dashboards, ad hoc reporting through, Tableau, which allows you to make custom reports in whatever way you need to. And we've recently made, updates within Tableau to improve both stability and load times as we explore some future expansion with that partner, as we move to 2025. Another piece of information here regarding what I just spoke to on Impact Edge, It's our newest reporting solution, and we're excited to showcase this product in more detail during our very first product update briefing for Impact Edge specifically, which will be this Thursday. On the screen, you'll see a QR code. You can use that to register, and and set yourself a reminder, or it'll also, as you register, send you a link to the live recording so that you can look back to that session if you're not able to be there for the live. One thing we really go into detail on during that session will be the newly released impact dashboards for YourCause. We're currently in the midst of rolling these dashboards out to our client base, and all YourCause customers will have access to the dashboard by the end of this year. And your access will be dependent on the products and functionality you use with us. So if you've got giving and volunteering or you've also got things, across, EverFib products or or otherwise, these these ecosystems are built to pull in data for what you actually are using. So we've gotten great feedback from clients throughout the process of building it out and rolling out the solution about how much time it saves them and how excited they are to unlock their new level, to their reporting capabilities. So I high highly encourage you guys, to join us live or to watch the recording. And then, moving into a last little note around reporting. So we've heard a lot of the feedback, that you guys have been asking for. Again, these are things that are coming through our idea bank or big request over long periods of time. And we know that you guys are utilizing our standard rep, reports and our uses insights dashboards heavily. We know that that that has been a request to extend, how much data you can pull in. So I'm happy to announce, with a lot of the back end work that we've done to improve that process, and improve those back end functionalities. We've extended for standard reports the ability for across all of our standard reports to be able to pull up to 2 years worth of data at a time. So that includes things like your all giving or pledge reports or volunteer participation reports to pull a wider time span, knowing that those reports are quite large as they are. For our in uses insights, we've extended that to a full 365 days of time, which is, again, instant kind of access of how your users are using your site from a kind of a high level summary piece. So, from that, I think those are some great updates, around, you know, how you guys are reviewing and and utilizing our data and reporting. I'm gonna go ahead and pass it back to Andrew to introduce our release preview and some of the updates on our cybersecurity efforts. Thanks. Thank you, Michael. I don't see myself on stage, but oh, there we are. So before we did dive into the features that are coming soon, we're gonna take a couple of quick minutes to talk about our cybersecurity program at Blackbaud. It's kind of like eating your vegetables before you get to the tasty entree. So we're gonna over the past few years, Blackbaud has made a significant investment in security. We have also shared about changes we've implemented to our incident response plans and our vulnerability management program. Today, we are sharing the bigger picture of how it all ties into a common goal, to mature our cybersecurity program against industry best practices to ensure a comprehensive and effective program that can prevent and detect current threats and anticipate future threats. We have aligned our program to the c s CSA reference architecture, the NIST framework, and the CSA cloud controls matrix, allowing us to adopt a defense in-depth strategy when it comes to protecting our systems and data. To highlight the obvious, this slide is a lot, and that's the point. This slide is meant to represent the layered security approach we have implemented, showing how all of our controls work together to protect our systems and data. Taking a defense in-depth approach to cybersecurity is important because it provides multiple layers of protection against a wide variety of threats. Cyber threats are constantly evolving, and no single security measure is a 100% effective. By implementing multiple security layers, such as firewalls, intrusion detect detection systems, and encryption, a defense in-depth strategy ensures that if one layer fails, others continue to provide protection, minimizing the likelihood of a successful attack. Some benefits of this approach include multiple layers of protection, reduced risk of single point of failure, and enhanced detection and response, as well as increased resilience. Alright. We've eaten our vegetables. Now let's get on to the road map story, continuing with release preview. I've I'll offer one clarifying note that in this session, we are not covering every new feature and enhancement in recent and upcoming months. Instead, we're eating we're offering highlights of the most impactful items. For a detailed review of what's included in our regular releases, I recommend checking out the what's new section in our help content available at the CSR Connect help center. And with that, let's now transition to what's coming soon in CSR connect. Continuing with our strategic themes, we are excited to share updates ranging from helping you check-in volunteers during in person events to improving search and more ways to donate. In our coming soon and next up sections, you'll start to see even more work we're doing around connected systems. And now I will pass it on to Chris for more details around these coming soon updates. Alright. Thanks, Andrea. So it's awesome to see that in person volunteering is picking back up, and we noticed in our industry report that 87% of our events are coming from in person. In person events can be daunting at times for event managers because there's so much going on, and event managers are pulled in so many different ways. So we're excited to share that our team is working on making volunteer event tracking smarter with mobile volunteer check-in. So with this, functionality, participants can come to the event, scan a QR code, and check into the event. Yes. It's that simple. So no more needing to have a sign up sheet or bring your laptop. No more needing to get everyone to wait in line to get checked in by one event manager. Participants with a couple of clicks can reduce the workload for the event managers. So I might not have a lot of skills, but I love our skills functionality. Skills provide a unique opportunity for both event managers and participants to have a tailored volunteer experience based on skills. Today, we offer a preset list of a 127 skills that are available in 12 skill categories, which also, fun fact, all those skill categories are translated into our 26 languages. We knew that customers wanted to adopt skills based volunteering, but they have a unique use case that prevented that. To address those cases, our team will be introducing custom skills where admins can create new skills, skill categories, and add translation to those skills. We are excited to about this functionality and getting this into the hands of our admins. We spoke on the share event functionality earlier in the pub, and it's making another appearance that we know all users will be excited for. As we have mentioned throughout this pub, time is very important to all of us, our admins and users. This improvement we'll be introducing in 2025 will allow users to invite up to 30 employees at once to an event, and the system will send them an email with details about the event. So tell your users, event managers, and all your friends because this will help them engage more with volunteering and have fun while doing it together. With that, I'll pass it to Michael. Thanks, Chris. So some more updates that I mentioned earlier around, some of the improvements we made earlier this year and some of these new improvements that are coming soon that kinda pair with it. So earlier this year, we made a big update to our checkout experience, which contains our our cart flow, allowing multiple checkouts, where we reduced a bunch of clicks and and brought matching information up to the forefront, and we've seen great success with that. A big part of the updates that are coming is doing the exact same thing to our edit donation or edit pledge flow. So now a user will have one page for all the donation edits or match edits, making it easy to understand what can and can't be edited, making that a lot less frustrating and hopefully reduce a little bit of the customer success and, CA team outreach, for questions around how to adjust, any of the details within your associated pledges. We've also cleaned up some of the navigation, making the donor, so that a donor making edits, will return back to their my giving page, very quickly, instead of jumping to the home page, allowing them to continue on with any of the edits that they may be working through if there were multitude from their my giving. Additionally, we've added a couple quality of life updates, such as, what you see on screen here for, the donation record summary. This can be opened from the donation activity and donation history tabs within my giving. They're now using a fly out design, so it stays on page. It doesn't have to open another tab or window to do it. You can still download it as needed, but it gives you that quick information without disrupting your experience and then allowing you to close it easily to get back to what you were doing within your my giving. Next up, is, some new payment modalities that we're looking to add, in the coming year. So we wanna expand that by offering all these new ways to donate. Specifically here, we're gonna talk about, adding the ability for recurring payroll, direct debit, meaning coming from your bank account, and recurring direct debit. So this is going to allow users, not only to donate quicker, but save payment information, for faster donations as well as scheduling recurring donations at user chosen intervals. We're also, looking to supercharge our, our search capabilities. So searching and finding an organization to donate to is extremely important, and we've heard your feedback, for the need to improve. We want to enhance our search to make it easier to find an organization or cause whether the user knows exactly what they're looking for or if they're looking for something new. We're gonna expand that functionality, by adding things, like improved contextual search so that users will be able to search for related terms, and then potentially as well expand, utilizing some, candid taxonomy, meaning, population served and some other important data points, that we want to add to, our our long list of data that we have around those charities. We wanna add things like fuzzy matching so so that our search experience is more friendly by dealing with things like misspelling, punctuation, and other common query issues too to still get you to the results that you're looking for. We wanna also update things like refined search results, so improving our associated matching logic and how we score results so that and you're searching for things and expecting a certain result to come through. Our algorithm on the back end understands that and is pushing those forward. And then as well, a big one is just an improved UI, so a consistent experience across all CSR connect where right now we wanna make sure that those searches feel like the same experience where filters are on the page is the same from an opportunity search to the organization search to the fundraiser search and and and other similar updates. So that when you're searching, no matter which section of the site you're going through, you know where to find your filters or sorts or or other functionality, and they all kind of look, a lot improved, for the information that you'll be presented with. And with that, I'm gonna pass it back to Andrea. Awesome. Thank you, Michael. So let now let's look ahead to next up themes for CSR Connect and your cause. So for this slide, I'm gonna do a little bit of vision casting when speaking about our major focus areas for 2025 and beyond. So as we talk about modernize, we're gonna continue the improvements that you've seen already started that are headed for the next 6 months through the the the following 6 months and beyond. So let's let's improve our interface. Let's improve our mobile responsiveness and making that technology throughout CSR Connect and all of the Eurocross products more frictionless. For Globalize, we are we have ambitious goals to expand global partnerships and continue to innovate new and existing features to be globally inclusive for all users. And for connected systems, let's flex our Blackbaud muscles. Let's lean into the opportunities within our Blackbaud ecosystems and our Blackbaud partners and ex and provide more data and more and and be able to expedite the giving process. So the modernize, let's start with modernize. We have several efforts underway to modernize and mobilize, the your cause products, including adapting adapting and adopting AI into our technology where appropriate, connecting incentives to become our modernized reward system, think, think activity based challenges and points, creating a best in class customer processing portal for self-service questions and self-service administration of the processing process, and, of course, more improvements in the mobile experience for both admins and end users. For Globalize, we're adding hundreds of vetted charities in Mexico for employee giving company matching grants. We will continue to expand strategically to, more to new regions to better facilitate impact for our customers. And as a final note on that Mexico point, we are the 1st vendor in the space to bring an in market global processing partner in Mexico, and we are very close to being able to share details, so keep an eye out. For connected systems, let's talk about how we're thinking of connected systems. So from identifying an event and adding charities to support relief efforts around disaster relief and crisis alleviation, adding those keywords and phrases to populate those identified charities in your organization search, And then contact creation through our our program fun functionality from NPO Connect for disaster and crisis relief programs, giving allowing our our clients to launch quickly when they wanna orient themselves around disaster and and crisis relief, and connecting to those programs to support those specific needs, and bringing in more data to help you understand your impact and outcomes. So more data within from all of the systems and our partners and the connectedness that we're talking about that will flow through to Impact Edge. And then finally, connecting those donor details into r a RE NXT for nonprofit customers so that they can see their, corporate donations in as much detail as they see it in in NPO Connect, and also really excited about the the work around expedited processing to get those funds to charities faster. Another major component of our connected systems is a much more streamlined delivery of funds to charities. Every year, your our YourCause platform and processing team facilitate the collection and disbursement of 100 of 1,000,000 of dollars to over a 100,000 charities around the globe. Ensuring the secure and speedy delivery of these funds are top priority for us, and we've had multiple efforts underway to drive shorter, more predictable processing cycles. The core Uracor's processing life cycle includes requesting funds from companies for prior month transactions, receiving and applying those funds to relevant accounts and invoices, and dispersing funds to charities. We now create and process charity disbursements on a regular schedule for each charity processor in our network. This includes now being able to disperse to US charities through the Blackbaud Giving Fund 2 times each week. All that adds up to shortening our average disbursement cycle by, 20% shorter. We are in progress for transitioning YourCause customers in phases to receive their auto generated funding requests, otherwise known as invoices. The intent is quicker turnaround times on monthly funding requests while maintaining the same degree of review to ensure accuracy. And coming soon, we will be introducing even more ways to accelerate this receipt of funds at the charities your company wants to support. Stay tuned in early 2025 for more exciting updates. And now I will hand it back to Kayla to bring us home. Awesome. Thanks so much, Andrea, and thanks so much, team, for all of those exciting updates. I'm gonna take a quick moment to launch a survey that you should see on the right hand side of your screen. We would ask that you please just take a couple of moments while we're wrapping up to take the survey. We'd love to hear from you, get your feedback on today's presentation, what you're excited about, and what other pieces of innovation in the future would make your life easier. So to wrap us up, I did want to, one more time, plug that product update briefing for Impact Edge. That is tomorrow. So in that presentation, we'll really be able to dive deep into those impact dashboards that Michael was able to preview a little bit with you all and talk about all the different ways that we're unifying your data, creating efficiencies, and empowering storytelling. So you'll get to take a look at some of the cool features like cause areas and trends and charity profiles that are available now and then upcoming functionality that we have planned for the impact dashboard piece over the next few months, as well as a deeper dive into Copilot. So we'll have some fun to be able to show and just really get into the weeds of this new product. So if you scan that QR code, you'll be taken to a general landing page for all of our product update briefings, and and you'll find ImpactED on the right hand column next to our your cause, product update briefings. And I'll also plug that if you weren't able to join us for Grants Connect yesterday but are interested in learning more about that platform and how it can help you manage your community investment programs, Would really encourage you to sign up, that presentation as well. As with all all of our pubs, if you sign up, even if you aren't able to attend, you'll automatically be sent a recording of the presentation, including this one today. So fear not. You will get that recording in your inbox soon. So with that, I just wanna say a big thank you, on behalf of myself and the entire team for taking some time to meet with us today. Pulling together these road map presentations gets us so excited, and we're so excited for everything in store, for 2025. So if you have questions from today's presentation, you could still drop those in the q and a. And like we mentioned as well and a couple of points, feel free to reach out to your customer success manager for more information on things like groups, and other functionality that we covered today. So thank you again. Please please finish taking, that survey, and we'll see you next time. Thank you.
